22" Angler C-Dory Work Boat

Anyone using a C-Dory as a work boat?

I'm leaning on a 22' Classic Angler to use for Hydrological surveying in S. Florida.

7" draft is hard to beat. Judging from some pictures i've seen they can handle chop pretty well too.

Does anyone have any performance numbers for the 22' Angler with a 115hp motor? I often carry a fair amount of gear.

If you put on trim tabs and Permatrim, you will do much better in the chop--but it is a semidory--not a deep V....So consider it pretty much an ICW type of boat, or calm days if you want speed. The boats are very sea worthy, but you don't want to push them (for the sake of your back) in chop over 2 feet.

With a 115 you should get over 30 mph, and a 4 stroke over 4 miles a gallon at 25 mph
