At most state parks you would not be able to make a reservation this early. The new concession at Hontoon does allow us to make reservations even this far ahead. If you are thinking of coming to the gathering next year, I encourage you to make reservations early. I’m sure most will be back and we’re looking forward to a lot of new people in 2027. I conferred with the park manager before I left and they are going to put the fire pit back in for next year and add extra benches in the marina area. They definitely want us back and everyone I talked to that attended this year had a great time.

I'm there in spirit with you all. Rosanne is having a great time and staying busy in El Salvador. (She's with a medical mission group "Helping Hands".) I get a Whats App message from her nightly. Took her and two friends to the MSN airport Friday at 4am. Those of you that know me, know how happy I was getting up at 3am. (I should have just stayed up Thursday night. My normal bed time is closer to that than my normal wake up time. lol) I'll pick them up this Saturday at 11pm. Time much more to my liking!
