2017 season kickoff !!

I'm officially in!! I launched today and brought my boat via water to my new marina. I'm right on the Boston Harbor! I can see the skyline from my slip....What a great location.

Another reason why I'm so happy (other than having my 25 in) is that it was 80 degrees today and almost no wind! It was an absolutely picture perfect day today and my launch/navigating couldn't have gone any better. Just amazing.....It's gonna get cold here again in Beantown this week but no more snow ! My boat will be here in her until Nov. 1st!!!! Woohoo!

Anyway, I'd like to wish all the Brats a safe and FUN 2017 season. And yes, I know my FL, TX and other southern Brats have been enjoying long before me but just let me soak it in now! LOL

80 degrees? Wow I'm envious. We've had an unusually long, wet and cold fall and winter here in Seattle (yes unusual even for the PNW) and people made a huge deal about hitting 60 degrees last week.

I always look forward to the first boat day of the season and Caryn and I had ours last Sunday. I really enjoy your posts and enthusiasm. It's nice to have some young blood on the site.

How did you attach the life ring to your window? That looks great and I want to do it to my boat!

Jason, Congrats, and I am sooooo jealous. Still days away for me. BTW, do you spend much time backing down after dark. Those LED stern lights look bodacious 8) :wink:

Its just a heavy duty suction cup with a hook! Works great. Its actually the previous owners life ring, he left me lots of goodies. LOL
 
Harvey, I think the lights will come in handy for a few different scenarios. They are really bright and can be swiveled in various positions.

Hope you can get your boat in soon! I know you love her.
