For Sale 2010 Tomcat 255 bought new in May of 2011. The boat has twin Yamaha 150 4 strokes installed new, both still under warranty. Engines have about 125 hours and have been maintained to factory specifications.

All standard equipment as per C-dory in 2010 plus options including roof mounted AC, Anchor windless, interior grab rails, macerator discharge for onboard head, AC/DC refrigerator, raw water wash down, multifunction fuel gages/tachs/depth sounder, Seaward stove, bracket swim step ladder, rear cockpit bimini, DSC UHF radio, Garmin 740S Chartplotter/GPS/Fishfinder. Boat includes an EZ Loader trailer with disc brakes.

This boat is in excellent condition and ready to run offshore today. I am located in Pirates Cove out here on the Outer Banks of NC. The boat is available for sea trials upon request.
Save 10's of thousands on a vessel that has been properly rigged and looks brand new.

We out grew the Tomcat pretty fast with two dogs and a growing family. We are looking at upgrading to a larger boat in the 40 to 50 foot range.

Does it have the molded interior or the cabinets that are removable? What do you use to power the AC when underway? Nice boat!

Charlie

Triton Marine has told me that this was the first Tomcat they produced after they purchased the molds. The interior is molded and then joined after the parts are removed from the mold. We use a Honda 3000 Handy for 30 amp service both underway or mooring. The generator sits back on the rear bracket.

With all the positive talk about the Tomcat, I thought there would be more interest. It's been real quiet. With this economy, too bad I'm not selling a CD 16, it seem like I would be fighting off the folks looking for one of them. Oh well, I guess its time to go fishing! Life is good.

Yes, the economy is very tough and there is a lot of uncertainty out there. Even the rich folks are keeping their money undercover until they see some reason to expect a better next four years. Good luck, it looks like a great boat.

Good luck with the sale. You've got a nice vessel, smartly designed, that holds it's value well. 3 weeks would be an awfully quick sale! The most recent Tomcat's sold from my recollection were older and at a lower price level of course.

Hang in there Blaise but keep fishing. Our neighbors that I took for a ride on TNATAWAY, my 2006 TC came down and looked at it and they are contemplating it Don't give up! I sold a 2006 TC but it took me awhile.

Blaise, Your TC 255 looks really nice and it will hold it's value. Be patient. And by the way, looks like you have nice neighbors too ( C-Dory in the slip next door).

I haven't been able to find any details regarding the floor plan of this boat. The current model's brochure doesn't show any.

Do you have any interior photos?

Also haven't found specs regarding the draft.

Should I expect the 2010 to be similar in most respects to the current Tomcat?

Thanks!

The floor plans will be basically the same in all of the 255 Tom Cats--large Berth athwart ships foreword, dinette with flip/flop back in the front seat on the port side. Locker (hanging or shelves) all of the way aft. On Stb side helm, then galley and finally head.

Draft: we can get out in 15" of water. Better with 18" during our severe winter low tides over a sandbar. For normal running, I like 3 foot of depth.

I will have photos to post of the interior after the Thanksgiving holiday. Draft is about a foot. I've had it lower! 2010 Tomcat is current with all boats built after 2010. I think only a hand full have been produced since Triton bought the molds in 2010. This is a Triton built Tomcat.

Hi Blaise!
We are very interested in your boat and have cash. We have a Regal 2665 self contained trailer pocket cruiser which is perfect except for the Bravo 3 drive marinating in the Pensacola saltwater 6 months per year. The pictures I have seen of the 255 interior look sort of spartan/utilitarian (cables going up the sides to light fixtures etc) compared to the luxe cruiser digs the Queen is used to, but she also relishes the thought of slapping Clorox on fiberglass to clean up where we last squashed a mosquito. (We only have them between Jan 2 and Dec 29). Looking forward to seeing your interior pics, also your trailer spec plate and tire ratings/mfgr dates. Disc brakes on only one axle or both? Please don't get discouraged and list with a broker, they charge 10% and then you can't sell privately. This is a terrible time to try to sell a big boat, I'm waiting 60 days and it should be better unless our leaders cause another recession or worse. I'll be contacting you,
Cheers!
John
