I had to go with 14 pitch 3 blade on my 150 Verado, also bought from PropGods; great to do business with.
On flat water light I'll hit 35mph, 33 heavy. You should be able to make 38+ with 200hp.
Good luck with the new prop, hopefully you'll be able to hit upper mid range of max rpm at WOT...

Thanks Jay. I'm hoping that the new prop will fix my low WOT RPM. I really dont think I have a fuel injection or other engine problems. The motor is running great!
 
Damnit! So we installed my new prop today. It's a 3 bladed, 16x19 pitch, S/S prop. It was what Ken from PropGods suggested.

Anyway, my RPM did increase BUT only a few hundred! My WOT is now 5100 RPM.

I called back Ken and we're gonna swap it for a 17 pitch. It's frustrating because I really was expecting a BIG change from this prop. He told me that people call him all the time and have the same reaction I did. It's not the end of the world but I was bummed out because my season is coming to an end soon. I really wanted to figure out the RPM issue this year......Aargh!!
 
generally one would.expect to see 200 PRM gain for each inch of prop decrease, but there are other factors, including the amount of cupping, as well as blade design etc. A prop is not a generic. and always follows a rule.

Did you try all trim position, tab positions etc to see what the fastest RPM you could get out of the prop? You have to do this with each prop--and the trim/attitude, amount of tilt/tabs will vary with each specific type of prop blade etc...You have to spend some time playing around with all of these parameters. Also, is the engine running with the antiventillation plate right at the surface of the water when on plane, trimmed out properly? If the engine is too deep, this can throw things way off...Boating is not simple--it is complex, and there are many interactions...
 
Finally got my prop dialed in! I'm running a 3x16x17 (stainless, Powertech brand). This was what I shouldve bought initially but we didn't have any data to know that the 19 that i initially tried would have such a small impact on the rpms.

So now my WOT is 5600 rpm. Still a tad low but Im not complaining! This seems like the perfect pitch for my boat (usually lightly loaded). Im curious to see how she'll do with 4 or 5 ppl on board though.

Im on vacation this week and we're having some great warm weather for New England this time of year. Yesterday was 72, today was 75 and tmmrow is 65. This is my last hurrah before i pull the boat out in 2 weeks. I must say I'm loving the 25! Finally getting comfortable with her and learning her capabilities.

Anyway....it seems my low rpm woes are satisfied now. That's good. I would also like to give a good recommendation for PropGods in FL. Ken helped me a lot over the past month. This is my 2nd prop! He's gonna let me return the first one minus a restocking fee.
