Hi,
New to here with my 25' 2004 Cruiser for sale. It can be seen on Ebay by searching C-dory. Currently the only boat for sale. The opening bid is $48k and the boat is loaded and mint with a 2006 trailer. Located near Albany, NY. Please see me at www.53hatteras.com. The auction is from 12/14/06 to 12/24/06. I may be reached anytime at captainandrew@53hatteras.com or 518-281-2308. Thanks, Merry Christmas.

That's gonna be a super deal for someone... I will be anxious to see what she finally brings.... wish I were closer or I would bid...it would be3 nice to have a 25'...although I sure have no problems with the 22'

Andrew-

Checked out your Hatteras 53' on your website!

Love the boat- can see why the C-Dory is no longr needed!

Good luck on the auction/sale!

Joe.

astasky - looks like you have a good looking boat at a great price. However, photos 7 & 8 could confuse potential bidders/buyers.

This is the second undervalued CD25 I have seen recently here on the east coast. Doesn't make sense. They were both offered by new members. If something is too good to be true, maybe it isn't. Comments?

Boy, I sure don't know how a 2004 C-Dory can have anything wrong with it.... their SUPER !.... wonderful boat.... and a Honda...nice motor...and a 2006 trailer.... I just can't see how this can't be a super deal... well worth bidding on... I really love my 22' C-Dory .... but I would seriously think about bidding... I love the 25' boats..
I sure would be afraid of offering my boat without a reserve...heck, this is a terrible time to sell a boat...and someone is gonna get a real deal...

Pete – I agree with your comment about it being undervalued, but seeing as it is an auction, he may get bids that are more than his starting bid. However, the C-Dorys I have seen sell on eBay generally sell for less than they are worth. We will have to wait and see what happens with this boat.

I would never sell a C-Dory on eBay.

Hey Dave you're right, photo #7 is MY BOAT!!!! Heck, it isn't for sale at any price ... well, maybe if we're talking 6+ figures - hmmm, nah.

Well, quite the commotion over my boat. First, you are right that the two pics of the other twin engine boat may be confusing, and my apologies to the owner of that boat. They are just such great shots.
Second, there is nothing wrong with this boat, and it's not "too good of a deal". :amgry I have the boat listed at $48k on ebay with NO reserve. You show up with $48k and you get the boat, engine, trailer, fenders, canvas, double braided lines, radar, gps, clear titles, everthing. No gimmicks, no flaws. Check my website and follow the links to my log home that I just built. My wife and I have just about $400k cash into it, and our other house www.upstatenyhouseforsale.com hasn't sold yet at $535k. Add the 53' Hatteras to that and looking to get a paltry $48k isn't that ridiculous.
Thanks for the interest, come and get it!
Andrew

Well, in the interest of not ruffling feathers, I removed the two hijacked photos from my Ebay ad. I replaced them and added a few more. Sorry from the new guy for the infringement. If I don't sell my Dory, you'll see my wife Alice and me happily cruising the Hudson from our home port of Shady Harbor. Thanks. Andrew

Andrew,
I wasn't offended by my boat's picture ... just wanted to make sure it didn't 'accidentally' sell! :disgust Good luck with your boat, great price, should sell even off season like this.

Hey Steve....Yer boat is famous... I was looking at Boat Trader on line the other day, a east coast dealers new boats and he also had a picture of yer boat.... he was selling new boats and I guess he diden't have a picture of a new green one.....so..

Boy I sure would go for that 25' C-Dory on EBAY...48k is a super starting price.... I suspect the boat will end up $55k plus... it sure looks good...if I thought I could sell SEA3PO and not take a beating I would go for it....
but I have so many extras on my boat it would hurt.........
Susan might hurt me some too.....

Astasky,
Nice boat--what hull numer is it?

A question about the radar--one of the photos shows a color image on the 1715 radar--What is that color image of?

Thank you

Color radar? Nope, perhaps you're looking at the Garmin 182c (color) GPS. The Furuno radar is the 1715. Brand new. Thanks for looking though.
Andrew

Looking at your photos on the E Bay site: Photo #7 shows what appears to be the Furuno Radar (I am very familiar with the 1715, owning one)--just to the port of the compass, with color on the screen. The unit looks like a 1715 (not the 1723, which is the color radar)--but wondered why the color on the screen?

Thanks.

Bob Austin

Bob,
Do you mean the 1715 b/w unit to the starboard of the compass? :wink If what I see is what you see then we see a reflection of my hand in color on the b/w screen. Sorry, but no LocNess. Just joking, no offense. Thanks for looking though. It's Xmas shopping day out with my wife which means usually there are more beers than shopping. Great boat, but this one already!
Andrew :thup :wink
(Can't resist these silly faces! :cocktail )

Thanks,
Andrew--Incidently your Hatteras looks like of the cleanist I have seen.

I hope that you are gong to do some serious cruising on it!

I have to wait until the Admiral gets out to La LA land before I decide if we need another C Dory on the West Coast.

Regards,

Bob Austin

Thanks Bob, looks like some cruises to hometown of Huntington Bay, LI, Block Island and my summering island of Nantucket. Great boat, last serial number ever made of the 53' Classic. One other owner, ridiculously beautiful. Thanks for the kind words. Merry Christmas!
