The question I would ask about a boat from that area, is how it was stored during the winter? Was it under cover, was it shink wrapped and was it positioned so that any water would drain out of the boat?

The boat is stored on my trailer at the boat yard every winter. Always covered and placed so any water that does get in the cockpit will drain out.

Both batteries are removed and all electronics and taken home for storage. At the end of every season the oil is changed and engine winterized by the mechanic at the boat yard. Always washed and waxed before she takes her winter nap. Stored from November through Late March. She is in great shape.

Wondering if your C-Dory is still for sale?
Where exactly is South Amboy? I'm originally from Westchester County, NY and go down there once month to visit my mother.
Thanks.

The Alana Kai has been sold. She will be leaving on 11/18 heading for Cape Cod. May calm seas and fair winds follow her new owners. :rainbow

I will sure miss her! Now the quest will be to fine a 25' C-Dory Cruiser

Anyone have :rainbow one for sale?

Greetings to the new CD owner from Cape Cod,

Welcome to the lucky few on the Cape fortunate enough to own a C-Dory. You're a member of a select group. As far as I know yours will be the 6th CD22 in the area.

Where are you located and where will you be keeping the boat.

Jim

We are excited about being the new owners of a C-Dory and wish it was spring already!
We live in Pocasset, Ma and will have the boat at Parker's Boat Yard in Cataumet, MA.

Welcome from another Cape Coddah.
Many years ago I spent lots of time down your way - Barlows Landing and boating in a 23' Lyman around Bassets Island.
Hey, maybe the Cape's half dozen or so CD's will have "a gathering" on the Vineyard or Nantucket next season.
