we reluctantly are thinking about putting Serenity up for sale
do to changes in our forseable future we have decided that the 25 is not going to work for us. we are going to downsize to an older 22 Cruiser that we can customize to our needs.

we are thinking somewhere arround $45,000.00

serenity_name_001.sized.jpg

new trailer
new used 150 Honda
new window covers
1996 vintage electronics
Alchohol Stove
Head compartment with new portable portapotty
new lines and bumpers
new fuel tank (100 gal)
Lots of storage space

It is one of the six CruiseShips built by the Tolands.it has the door offset to starboard allowing the head to be quite large. the dinette will seat four adults comfortably. the only thing is, no forward facing seat for the passenger unless they sit on the rear seat of the dinette
you can see more pics here

Hi Roger,

Sorry to see you having to downsize, but you do what works for you, right?

Will that forward dinette seat convert to a "Barber chair" type seat very readily? Curious. Nice boat, lot's of pluses.

wow, this is a great deal. its the same cabin as my 27. large v-berth, 4 person table, and a large head. the head in these are bigger then in a new tomcat.

are you bringing it to bellingham to show???

Hi Harvey
yes sometimes we gotta do what needs doin no matter how much it hurts
no, the seat would not convert to a barber chair without a lot of cabinet work.

Hi Tom
yes we plan to have it up at the Bellingham gathering. we have a good friend who is in the detailing business do a cleaning on her prior to the gathering.see ya up there

Lisbeth and I were talking the other evening and thought that we should post here that we would be willing to do some sort of a trade for a 22 cruiser if there were anyone out there that is thinking about upsizing.
it could make a difference to someone who wants a 25 but doesn't want the hassel of selling the 22 first.

Roger, do you have any recent pics you can send or post ie of cockpit/bulkhead/interior, How many hours on the 150? Hot water, shower?
That dinette seats 4 and sleeps 2 correct?
Thanks,

Stefan

Stefan,

I need to get out there and take some new pictures.will post some soon

the 2006 150 Honda had about 330 hrs on it according to the computer readout when we purchased the motor. we have put about another 10 hours on it.

there is no hot water or shower amenities altho the head compartment is quite large.

Yes, the dinette seats four and would probably sleep 2 depending on how cozy ya want ta be....lol....

Stefan, are you getting 3 foot itis again?

Okay,
I'll put my. 02 on this deal, somebody better step up, because this is a rare boat. In my opinion as a 2005 CD-25 owner, I wish it was the design of Roger's 1996. The offset cabin adds much needed space in the head, and for the dining setee. The galley side doesn't suffer from this design. Nevertheless we still love our 25, but if we had a smaller C-Dory and moving up it would be Roger's boat or the very rare 27 (same design as Roger's). So someone better get it soon, it isn'called the Cruise Ship for nothing, this is great deal on great C-Dory from one of the Premier C-Brats.
If we have the right lottery numbers, I'll be calling.

I have a 1989 22 cruiser in good shape and would be interested in up sizing to the 25. Is the trade still something you are considering?

There you go Roger. Work out a trade deal of sorts with Jellybean. Then you can secure his '89 22' Cruiser next to your '83 22' Classic and you'll have the first 22' C-Dory Catamaran with two master berths and both of you can drive at the same time.

Hello there
yes we should talk. PM me your contact info and I can call you, or better yet come on down to the boat show gathering and we can talk there and you can see the boat up close on your way home. I am at exit 212 on I-5

I am surprised that this boat has not sold. The "Cruise ships" are great boats--and I agree that there are some features which make them equal if not better than the newer boats.

I have a 22' Cruiser with autopilot and radar, and a brand new cover, and would clearly be interested in trading for a larger boat, if yours is still available. Please let me know. Thanks... Rick

well, it has been a very long day for us today.
we towed Serenity down to Grants Pass OR yesterday and spent the night. in the morning we met up with Rick and made the exchange.
He got the 25 and I came home with the 22.
the exchange went well and we were on the road headed north by 12:00 and just walked in the door here. 460 miles later. it is 11:40 PM now.
so Mike (Tyboo) please take Serenity off the for sale section
