Have not had to put in new ones but have repaired rebuilt a couple. Either of those will work but the main concern is not installing them but installing them in a way that makes taking them apart next time not only easier but possible. Grease or anti seize is your friend. As is a good seal where the shaft goes thru the fiberglass.
