Just a quick question for y'all. I am about to order a new full boat coat for my 1989 16' Angler from Angola Canvas, but the pattern they have is for a 2000 model. I don't think they changed the C dories significantly in these years but I thought I would try to confirm this.
Also, just curious why someone would not want to have the outboard cover included with a full cover. Mine always had one and seemed to work well? Is there a real bad problem with canvasing the outboards?
Any other details from those who have ordered over the phone would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I do not beleive the hull or cabin shape has changed in that time. Should be good to go. I'm ordering one from Angola this week too.

You guys ought to get a "group" discount since they can cut two at a time! Just sayin'

so how much does a cover for the 16 angler cost? do you think just throughing a cheap tarp over the boat will harm it?

I would include the OB's under the cover. My boat cover does not cover the Out Boards, or teh splash well, and it works like a leaf collector. I am planning on adding a separate cover for the splashwell and OB's, that goes on under the storage cover. Will make for better ventilation and still protect both engines and the well.

Harvey, If you get your splash well cover done before I get mine done, please post some pictures. Like you, I am tired of having leaves in the well.
