Yes we both have a happy anniversary. you 11--me 10 yrs in the Brats - I am tracking just behind your wash here - LOL
Bought my 16 ft Angler new in 1990 as a bare hull. Powered her with a used Yamaha 30 (3-cylinder model). It was a good, economic, engine until I found some currents and waves overpowering. So in 2013 I re-powered with a used 2003 50HP Honda I found being cleared out at a Yamaha dealer. After carefully tuning the carbs, replacing the thermostat, zincs and water pump parts etc. it runs -- well what can I say- like a Honda.
So far I have been able to do all my own work right from the get go to keep the marine budget to a minimum. My wife is just as enthusiastic about Blueback as I am and we our best boating buddies.
