Finally got all the stars to line up for the continuation of our Gulf Coast Gathering series.
We have a NEW VENUE and it is a pretty nice place for a bunch of Sea Dorys and Ranger Tugs to spend a weekend !Plenty of places to tie up and spots in the local marinas too.
We have some of my musician friendslined up for Saturday Night . Ill man the omelette pans and BBQ [ and maybe my bass and guitar ]with a little help we will have a Big Big time!!
I will book some special rates for the Best Western and the Water Street Hotel and the Gibson Inn as well . Ill need to get those folks reserved asap as there is marathon [the running race kind] in town and rooms book up fast . Lets have a great time and celebrate the C Dory lifestyle in Apalachicola !!
Marc
P.S I forgot to mention we should have one or two shiny new C Dorys from Triton Marine to show and demo . We could probably even be convinced to sell one ..........

I will be "C Doryless",

Marc, you can blame me. Too bad the timing isn't different, Bob and I could come together on THATAWAY and hold the "Change of Command" ceremony at your pier! :idea

Have a wonderful Gathering!!

Charlie

Marc,

This is great  news. Count on CHARITY being there. If you let me know what I can do to help. I will come early and stay late.

Marc,

This is great  news. Count on "CHARITY" being there. If I can be of help, please let me know. I can come early and stay late. We will be cruising on our CD-25 and plan to sleep on the boat.

Bob you are good to go with the 40' road dory .I am excited to do this again , we have had some great fun in the past . I should have a new 25 C Dory and possibly a 23 hull built like a 22 [I know a few folks will like that] by then and you will all be able to see what the Triton boys can do .
Dave , thank you and we will look forward to seeing you here in Apalachicola .
Hope we can get some folks that want to see the boats for the first time here as well ,its been a long road to finally having them in stock again . I missed having them here . They tend to stop traffic !
Marc

Oh Man!!
You are picking on me. I'm locked into the Loopers convention starting the 24th and had planned to trailer down to Apalachicola for the seafood festival the 1st weekend in November. Your descriptions of the delights waiting me there have forced me to come that far - Now you mix up the dates. I want to do it ALL. I'll never get it right.
Chuck

Well there are never any rooms availabble for Seafood Festival and we always bring 10-20 boats to the festival which makes me a salesguy/truckdriver. We think of it as our private boat show. It will be fun however and if you need a room let me know asap and Ill see if I can help.
Marc

Hey Yall RT TUG is looking forward to the trip. :) (Me too) Let us know if we can help with anything Marc and we will.

Don , get a room soon ! Or stay on the boat .I think we need to jump on accommodations as there is this marathon in town the same weekend. Look forward to seeing you !

Hey Marc,

Cindi and I plan to attend. What facilities are there at the lodge? Is there a ramp and parking? Head/shower?

I searched on it, but didn't get any hits. From your map, it looks like it is up by the fish camp.

Thanks!

The facilities do not include a shower at least I dont believe so, Ill check . The Water Street Marina has 1 dollar a foot slips for the C Brats that include shower facilities and Scipio Creek Marina is right on the creek as well . Both are within a short protected boat ride of Rivercrest .
Marc

Tom & Marlyn aboard Traveler, a 25, plan to attend. Is there a place to leave the trailer and truck?

We look forward to meeting you all.

We're from Wildwood Florida.

Tom and Marylyn ,glad you are joining us !No problem as far as truck and trailer storage. We have lot of places to put them. Looks like we will have a good turnout and a lot of fun. We went in to the gathering location by water in a new Ranger R 27 on Fri. Plenty of depth and a really nice spot. That Ranger along with the new owners John and Boots {Little Tug Boots} will be there as well.

Hello C-Brats

Brenda and I have attended all four previous Gulf Coast Gathering in Apalachicola, FL. Very enjoyable experience every time.

I must find a way to contribute and take some pressure off Wefings (Marc). We can rent a room to provide showers for those anchoring out and a late night gathering place. Or just maybe we can just pass the hat to help Marc with expenses.
