Let me be the first to say another great C-Dory get together goes into the books! My son and I had a wonderful time (our 4th annual? -- if so, can't believe it). Weather predicted to be sketchy with rain and some wind, turned out slight rain early Friday, none on Saturday or Sunday, terrific. Got in some good walks to town for what else -- boat supplies. My son and I had our usual 'hand-picked' lobster lunch and the group layed out a tremendous pot-luck dock snack party for the evening. Weather was perfect for our Saturday evening dock party, lots of passer-bys 'wished' they had a C-Dory about then! Had a nice, easy-going breakfast at a local favorite just off the pier.

To wrap up the outing, Roger and Pat hosted a great afternoon meal consisting of all kinds of scrumptious chinese food, drinks and dessert back in Channel Islands Marina. Thank you Roger and Pat for another great event, sign me up for next year! I'll post the few pictures I took tonight, too busy having fun to take more.

We had another great cruise to Santa Barbara for the annual Seafood & Harbor Festival. It was good to welcome another new C-Dory owner, Steve on Gizmo came down from Lake Tahoe to join us (and to visit his daughter, Paige, who attends Antioc University in Santa Barbara)
The dock party was great- Kate (Dive Cat) brought some delicious tomatos and cheese, Roy (Water Lillie) brought some great home smoked salmon, Sue (SEA3PO) supplied some great homemade buffalo jerky, Chris (Rana Verde) had a great cheese and salami plate, Thompson (no boat as yet) brought some excellent chips and dip. There was plenty for everyone to pig out on. Sorry if I missed some names, but my forgetter works very well.
Best of all was the great company.

Natalie and I had a great time at the Santa Barbara Harbor Festival this weekend. It was great to see everyone, and and to meet the crew of Dive Cat and Gizmo.

Roger and Pat, thanks for your efforts on this one each year. It really is a lot of fun!!!!

Roger and PJ,
You folks did another bang orginizing job with The Santa Barbara gathering. Thank you. I don't know what favors you cashed in on to see to it that the weather was so nice great but we're glad you did. You folks are a pleasure to be with. Sign us up for next year!
It was great to see old friends and meet Bob, Katie, Steve, Paige, Sidney and Thompson (Thompson, call me for the sea trial).
I'll post some pictures as soon as I figure out how.

Steve (Swanny)

Sounds like a great event that Roger Fishtales put on. Someday I would like to go to this Santa Barbara function.

Wanted to tell you that your vessels is profiled on the home page of the factory C-Dory web site now!! Congratulations. You have one of the nicer owner modified 25 footers (in my opinion).

Thanks Jim, yea I knew about mine being the October photo selected when the factory e-mailed me last few days of September. Even sent me a goody bag with hats and vests. The vests are pretty nice, never seen them before. Quite an honor, got 14 more days to 'bathe' in the pleasure!

Yes, we'd love to have you and Kathy down here, any reason at all, anytime.

Folks, I may have found a way of posting my picture after all. I'll try from work in the morning. I'm not sure the problem is. It has to on my end though.
Ron - Thank you for your willingness to help out. You have my gratitude.

A special thanks goes out to those who not only posted the Santa Barbara Get-Together photos, but also to those who labeled/captioned the photos.

Naming the participants and detailing the activities is a real plus, and almost a must, for those C-Brats who were unable to attend. Thanks, folks! Well done!

Joe.
