10/13 - 10/15 - Santa Barbara Seafood Festival Cruise

For this years "Post Cruise" dinner at the Yacht Club, I am considering having it catered by a local Chinese restaurant. I have used this restaurant in the past to cater parties.
I would like to hear from everyone that will be attending. Hoping everyone likes Chinese food.
Please log on to the sign up list.
The sign up page is here.
I will also be contacting the Harbor for the slip reservations, need to know how many boats we will have.

Hi Roger,

Love Chinese food (and just about any other food you can think of...). I thought I had already signed up, didn't see my name, so did it FOR SURE this time. Looking forward...thanks for the reminder.

Once again, it is time to step up to the plate and sign up for the cruise.
I need every ones address that plans to attend. Those of you that were part of last years cruise and had a change of address-- I need your new address.
I have received the cruise packet from the Harbor Master. I need to send you the forms to fill out, and return to me no later than Sept. 25, so I can get them back to the Harbor Master for the reservations.
Again, per harbor rules, I need to receive a check made out to me, so I can pay the Harbor with one check.

So far we have -
Fishtales
Bob Cat
Dora~Jean
Salty-Cs
Sea3PO

The cost of a slip in the Santa Barbara Harbor is still at the low rate of $.60 per foot.

The food is spectacular- fresh lobster and crab of your choice and cooked on the spot. I think Koinonia has the record so far for the largest lobster ordered- 10lbs.
Andy said he wants to come again this year- I need his address.
Steve Grover said he wants to join us- I need your address.
Mike, Ron, Roy, Keith???? I don't see you guys signed up. Are we going to miss you this year?

I put the reservation cards in the mail for the following boats and crew;

WaterLillie
Bob Cat
Sea3PO
Dora~Jean

edit;
add Islander and Li'l Rascal to the list-- cards are in the mail. :smiled

Just heard from my brother-in-law who provides the tickets, and the NY High School Reunion this year is on Saturday 10/14, so it look like I'm out of this cruise for this year. This is an annual event held at the Beverly Hills High School auditorium, and this year they are honoring Mitzi Gaynor & Neil Sedaka, who will be putting on a show. The audience is always packed with celebrities...all hailing from New York.

Roger,

Do we dare go for another try at a jaunt out to the Painted Cave on Santa Cruz Is Sunday? I'm good for it, haven't been there for 2-3 yrs. Not sure if others interested now that the gas is 2x higher, nor how it would fit with your Sunday schedule.

Hi, Roger

So, we send you the check for 2 nights, 13-14, right? Right about now I don't like my Armstrong Brackets and Honda's! 31' overall!

Bob Cat

Bob,

Yes- you just need to pay for two nights. We'll get the slip assignments as we arrive on the 13th.
That extra length adds up, eh?

See you guys soon

Finally got my schedule for working the Long Beach Boat Show...Sept. 18 thru Oct. 16. As Max Smart was so fond of saying "missed it by that much." We will be very sad to miss such a fun event.

Sam and Kerry,
Sorry you can't make it-- I know you will have fun working the boat show.

So far I've recieved RSVP's from Sea3PO and Dive Cat. Islander called and said his is in the mail today.

I need to receive these by Sept 25-26 in order to get them in to the Harbor Master.

Thanks
