10/01 - 10/03 - Sequim Bay Fall Fling

I'll give you my two cents worth before Cynthia does

Hey Jon, can you spell deep doo-doo?

I just put the bottle of champagne we got with the boat into the boat so we don't forget it this time. So, Jim, be sure and bring your collar if you would be so kind as to do the honors for the TyBoo!

See what happens when I sleep in - Tyboo Mike, you are so right!

Jon got it pretty right on though. Another motel I might add is the Ramada Limited, newer than the EconoLodge, & in the exact same area. Their toll free phone # is: 1(800) 683-1775 - address is 1095 E Washington St, Sequim.

Let us know if you need any more help on the area.

Cynthia

Well, our idea to launch from Everett is off - it is about 55 miles, and we do not have any real chance of getting off early on Friday, so it is drive around, launch in the dark and feel our way from John Wayne to the State Park, hope there is some space left at the dock, if not, you might wake up Saurday a.m. and find us rafted to you...

If you're staying in Sequim at one of the motels, B&B's etc you might want to try the Oak Table for a fantastic breakfast. Many fine memories. I can fantasize about the blueberry pancakes back here in PA. Ahhhhhh...

Jon,

Agree - can't recommend Sequim Bay Lodge. We have stayed there several times - close to the casino - but the rooms are a bit spendy for what you get, and I don't think on a par with the Sequim newer motels where we now stay.

Doc tomorrow, but I'm hoping to at least visit on Saturday and see all my buddies. And of course to visit my brother in Port Angeles.

Tight lines -

Dusty

Tyboo,
Yep will be there Saturday, and consider it my esteemed privilege to Name the Tyboo with you and Kay.. And thankfully there will be some folks there that we can finally give them their Christening Certificates... It has been sooo hectic around here,, that they fell off the radar :cat ,but will be catching up at Sequim.
Jim

Thank you, Jim, thank you.

The Da Nag and crew will be here either later tonight or tomorrow sometime on their way north. It is certain that Da Nerd is going to want to check in here and see if I screwed anything up, but I gotta tell you, if he whines about my Windows OS and tries to foist that Penguin crap on me, he ain't using none of the computers in this house. And, if he gives me any crap about the Dodge when he rattles in with the Ford hippiemobile with the tractor engine, well, he might be parking alongside the highway. Dana and the boat can stay, though.

Carefull what you say about those tractor engines!!!!!!
I have the exact same engine in my tractor that you have in that noisy Dodge of yours.

Jon,

Sorry about the delay... I didn't get the "new message in forum".
Thanks for the info.... I tried the Econo Lodge, it was full, so made reservations at the Ramada. Looking forward to the trip... sounds like fun.
See you there.

Matt

:cry :cry :cry
I am in the process of digging my potatos right now so I will not be able to attend the gathering.
I have the banner here at the house so if there is anyone close by willing to meet me somewhere half way I will bring it to you soas to have it at the gathering

TwoLuckyFish, I'm waffling and wobbling on my desire to leave from Everett. I'm thinking I might want to go for the sure thing, a predictable trailer south then north.

And to paraphrase Tyboo, am I supposed to be sitting here daydreaming and typing into this browser, or am I supposed to be working? I think the latter, but then I don't really give a crap right now.

Roger!!!

Ok, if I call in sick tomorrow and bring my shovel over, will we be done before dinner?

I guess the old shrimp pot will have to wait, I want you to look at it and see if you could use it before it goes bye-bye.

Catch you on the rebound, Jon
