Hello everyone.

Some folks have been asking about places to stay in Oriental, if not planning to stay on your boat at the Marina. Last year Ernie and I stayed at the River Neuse Suites. # 252-249-1404. Tracy of Dragonfly told us about this place. It was very nice. As for places to eat. WE like M&M's and Oriental Steamers. Billytee of Lady KC has also told me about the Silos which he reports was very tasty as well. Remember we are having Potluck on Friday evening at the Marina. and BBQ on Sat night.

Hi, Sorry I have not got back with you, we have been out of town in the Rv without Internet Service. Yes if you would make us Res. at the Marina, we will be there on Sept. 22 Can't wait to see ever one. Jim I will send you a PM
 
Hello Everyone,

It is only a few weeks until we get together. Ernie and I will be arriving at the Marina On Thursday Sept 22, and will be around to give others a hand. Potluck meet and greet is planned for Friday evening starting about 5:30 pm. Sat. we will cruise down to Beaufort or Morehead City for lunch then back to the Marina for BBQ dinner. I have been in contact with Ashley at the Marina. He reports that even though Irene created some havoc they will be ready and waiting for us to arrive. Please join us, All are welcome.

Ernie & Erma, Suzanne and I are going to try and make the gathering. I will call the marina, but since we will not be staying on our boat where can we store the trailer? Hope we can arrange reservations at this late date.

Dick,
You can store the trailer at the Marina. We put in at the wildlife ramp in oriental this is a free ramp, which is just a short ride to the Marina. I am so glad you two are planning to attend. I will email you our cell number.

I have had a schedule change an may be able to make it to Oriental after all! I don't leave for Seattle until Monday and am considering coming down for the festivities and cruise to Beaufort.

Pam & I live about 100 yards from the wildlife ramp. Let me know when you plan to arrive & we'll be happy to help you launch.

No worries on where to store the trailer. As Erma mentioned, the marina will have plenty of room. If worse comes to worse I own 4 acres of ground close by. I think we can find room for your trailer!

Al, thanks for the offer however our schedule has become conflicted and we will not be able to attend the gathering this year. Hope to attend next year.
