Diana and I are planning on going to Lake Powell this fall. I’m curious if anyone else is interested. Depending on whether or not I get a permit to hunt sage grouse it could be mid to late September when we get there. I’d like the rendezvous to be towards the end of the month.

I will ask Tyboo and/or Da Nag for an event sign up to see see what kind of interest there is.
 
I might be interested. FWIW, the Mississippi Meet in the Middle gathering is the first weekend after Labor Day. Colby
 
We will plan to be there. Usually we meet at Oak Canyon on a Saturday later in September. The 23rd is Saturday in 2018. We will follow the thread to see what others want to do.
 
We are considering coming down in the fall, but not until October. The weather is still too nice here in Alberta in September and I have lots of work to do on my ranch getting ready for winter. Also it's too hot for us northerners in September. We would love to meet up with some other brats while there.
 
Sept 2017 had a grand total of 2 (TWO) boats. Lew
 
OK now, I'm confused :? Is this planning for fall of 2018? Seems like that would be the plan, looking at the dates from the posts.

I am considering lake Powell for fall of 2018, with maybe a stop in the Sacramento Delta on the way. I would guess mid Sept to mid October for time to be on the lake. Probably not start from here until after Labor Day 2018.

There appears to be a signup now. I put my name in on the list. As for timing, the Mississippi Meet in the Middle would be the weekend of September 7-9, 2018. Ideally Lake Powell would fall on or after the 4th weekend of September. Colby

Colby, I’m also thinking late Sept is better.
 
We are considering it, Powell is one of our favorite places of all time!
 
Right now we are about 23 feet higher than the previous year. But the snow pack is only at 60 percent. Hopefully we will get lots of snow in the new year.
