Hello Everyone, Time to let you all know that Lee and Jan are going to be there with the Tully-B again this year. Last year was a new experience for us and it was a great one. We had hoped to meet fellow C-Dory owners and to learn something from them. We did learn and what a great experience it was and the event was held at a great location. This year we hope to stay a little longer and to get to know everyone a little better. Our summer plans are to go to Northern Lake Huron again, one week before and one week after the 4th of July. If any C-Dorys are going to be in that area around the Straights of Mackinaw around then, lets' try to hook up.

I am starting to wonder if there is anyone else out there who plans to attend. How about it gang, are you going to be there? Lee

The Pelican will be in Dubuque for the gathering for sure. We, Pat & Ken will be providing coffee and rolls on Friday morning at the dock for all the C-Brats. Since there are no scheduled events, I'll bet we can get a burger run to another marina or a picnic on a sandbar for Friday or Saturday started. We can see what others would like to do when we meet on the dock.
I know of probably 3 other boats that have indicated they are going but I see they have not sighed up yet. Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Carpy will be in attendance and anxious to see our C-Brat friends. Our plans are uncertain at this point, but we will hope to be there Friday am and think the sandbar dinner sounds like fun. We hope to spend some time on the river while we are there. We have not be south of Dubuque and would like to mosey downstream. We are not sure if it will be before or after the gathering.

I think that it is time to get some chat going about our September meeting in the middle at Dubuque. Jan and are so looking forward to attending this year and we plan on hoisting a Pig, Pie in the Park event. We plan on having Hotdogs (or maybe Brats) along with Pie and maybe Ice Cream if we can come up with a way to keep it frozen. We have not finalized on the day nor the location for this PPP event, however, as we get closer to the meeting we will get this all pulled together. Let's get the chat going. Lee

As of now, my intentions are still to come after work on Friday (getting me there about 7p), and depart Sunday. That could always change, but for now that is the plan. ;-) (I'll be towing Midnight Flyer down from the Madison area.) Colby

Thisaway/Thataway--is considering attending this gathering on the way to explore the Apostle Islands in Sept. This depends on the Skippers health.

Hope the schedule works out for both of us, would love to meet you. Can share some good Apostle info also, if you haven't been there before. Another great place to boat! Colby

I'm at the Dubuque Yacht Basin Marina this evening, as one of my sons and I are taking a short father/son vacation a few days on the Mississippi. Just wanted to share with anyone trailering here, the water is low again. I think possibly a bit lower than last year's get together. This evening using the boat launch near the marina, I not only had WOT in reverse to power off the trailer, but my son and one other big guy yanking on my lines helping to get the boat off the trailer. I have the standard EZ loader bunk trailer, and the bunks were not much under the waters surface. Then you have to be careful coming into the marina channel, but the little peninsula is marked by some sticks. If the water gets any lower, I'll need a deeper ramp. Actually since I'll be coming solo, I may need a different ramp at the current water level. Any suggestions? Colby
