Alam’s Only Proposed Cruise Plan

Cruise Day 1 (Monday, June 2): Launch at Chesapeake Beach, MD during early afternoon. Depart Chesapeake Beach, cruising to Annapolis Harbor, spending the night on a mooring ball. Approximate distance over the water: 25 miles.
Cruise Day 2 (Tuesday, June 3): Depart Annapolis by mid-day, or early afternoon. Cruise to the Magothy River to it’s approximate headwaters, exploring side cuts, then spending the night at one of various marinas or anchorages. Approximate distance: 24 miles.
Cruise Day 3 (Wednesday, June 4): Depart Magothy River early in the day, heading north to Harve de Grace, overnighting at anchorage or marina. Explore Harve de Grace on foot. Approximate distance: 64 miles.
Cruise Day 4 (Thursday, June 5): Depart Harve de Grace by mid-day, leaving the western shore, for the Sassafras River, exploring the Sassafras to overnight at Georgetown/ Fredericktown, at marina or anchorage. Approximate distance: 28 miles.
Cruise Day 5 (Friday, June 6): Depart Sassafras River early morning, heading down the eastern shore to Lankford Bay, with stop at Rock Hall. Overnight at Lankford Bay. Approximate distance: 64 miles.
Cruise Day 6 (Saturday, June 7): At Lankford Bay.
Cruise Day 7 (Sunday, June 8): Depart Lankford Bay mid-day, heading south for St. Michaels. Overnight at St. Michaels, or nearby anchorage. Approximate distance: 20 miles.
Cruise Day 8 (Monday, June 9): Depart St. Michaels late morning, crossing the Chesapeake Bay, to Chesapeake Beach, and pull-out. Approximate distance: 36 miles.
Weather cut-outs: Heading north on the western shore, weather cutouts will be Annapolis Harbor, the Magothy River, and Baltimore Inner Harbor (approximately 24 miles up the Patapsco River from the Chesapeake Bay mid-channel). Weather cut-outs heading south on the eastern shore from the Sassafras River will be Worton Creek (east of Pooles Island), Fairlee Creek, and Swan Creek/Rock Hall.
