I have that Trailer Hitch scale to loan out again if anyone would like to weight some toys. I can bring it in a box and you can just ship it back to me when you are done with it. Up to 1000lb capacity.
Greg I would like to borrow that. I 'm thinking of moving my boat forward on the trailer , along with the axles. That scale would save me trips to the scale.
SleepyC goes on the water today and meet with our group this afternoon. Looks like we will have a 22, a couple 25's, a Ranger, and a PS36 headed north. One of us would like a fair breeze, (Pacific Seacraft) and the rest of us are OK with light to mirror flat
See you all soon.
BTW, anyone headed north through Seattle (Old Growth Dave?) might be better to take to the water, (maybe even in Coos Bay or Astoria:lol:
Just a reminder to everybody, when you register with the harbormaster after mooring be sure to tell them you are with the C-Dory group. That gets you a very nice discount on moorage.
drat, we won't be making the trip, I was hoping to get out of work early tomorrow but I just have to much to do and my damn foot is killing me. I blaming the toe pain on gout caused by that beer I swindled Bach out of in exchange for that wallas stove.
Barry said to call in on 66 when approaching Friday Harbor. Our radio has 66A is that the correct one to use....sorry we are still very green. Probably a dumb question.
The little 12ft skiff goes on sale as soon as we finish the weekend with her (lola) at FH. Come by and take a look if you are interested. I have it listed in the for sale section with details.
There was a pretty steady rain this morning, but it has lightened to occasional sprinkles. I have it on good authority that this is not Barry's fault - he has been doing his "sun dance"...
Hardly any wind, though, and the weather weasels are predicting no rain between 3 and 5 today. 8) And, if you can't trust the weather folks, who can you trust??
That's about the time window we are planning for. First to the customs dock and then over to H! Looking forward to meeting folks I have only "met" on c-brats!
We had a great afternoon and evening visiting with C-Brat friends on the dock and at Downriggers Restaurant. Plenty of C-Dorys (and a couple Ranger Tugs) are here...
