05/14 - 05/18 - 6th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

Thanks for posting all the great photos, folks!

But you obviously left one part of the story out of the written account:

What's the skinny on the Tatoo Party?

Looks like everyone got the full treatment!

Would you accept advice from this guy about how to fix your C-Dory? (Can you name him?)

More revelations from somebody else:

Can you find the tatoo on one of these C-Brats?

Joe.

Hopefully I'll annotate the photos when I get a little "time" (both actual and computer use).

I'll admit I won the tatoo prize: a nifty mouth powered "Whistle". But I had an advantage--I had a can of "goof off" which I was quite sure would remove the facial tatoos. The next morning I put a sign of the side of the boat:
Tatoos removed:
Arms and face: $100
Other Human Body Parts $1,000
Dogs: $10,000

No takers, but my container of "goof off" disappeared!....

Now, for the story behind the scenes. I was to meet the parents of my son's very serious girl friend for the first time the next morning for Breakfast. You can be sure that those tatoos were off by then! I took them for a C Dory ride so they could see their property at the head of Richardson Bay from the water for the first time--they loved the C Dory!

Thanks for the laughs and great times!

Bob-

Thanks for posting all those great pictures. Really shows the diversity of the trip from the parties, to the fishing, to the 35 knot winds, and to the red skys.

Hope you are enjoying your Alaska cruise.

It would be nice to get the 7th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza onto the calender. One of the consequences of buying a boat in the fall is having to wait so long for a cruise.
Of course the extra time means that my boat may even have have a name by then...
