Shhhhhh.... just listened to Mr./Mrs NOAA.... Wind up to 25mph...but they do not look as bad if you put them in knots....

See Yall Soon... checkiing off the net in an hour or two to head to the River!!!

Pandy Girl/Jim & Sandy:

Here are directions to the ramp area from NC. See Ya soon.

Stay on I-40 west to Mount Juliet, TN from NC area.
EXIT 226 (pick the ramp headed north) to Mt. Juliet TN

Travel North on Mt. Juliet Road North 4.2 miles to Hwy 70. Turn Right onto Hwy 70 and go about 7/10th miles, and there is a KANGAROO GAS STATION & STORE on the right hand side of the road. Get boat fuel here.

Proceed right out of Kangaroo about 5/10th miles and turn LEFT onto Benders Ferry Road. This intersection has a CITCO gas station on the left side of Hwy 70 and a Baptist Church cross the street from the CITCO.
HWY 70 & BENDERS FERRY GPS: N 36.13.906 W 086.29.464

Now, from Hwy 70 on Benders Ferry, go 3.7 miles (slow down at 3.6..) and the entrance to the Lone Branch ramp area is on your left. Ramps are down and to the left.
GPS COORDINATES OF RAMP AREA: N 36.16.986 W 086.30.143

Good ramps. Clean swing areas for launching. We have left our tow vehicles here at this ramp on other cruises for a week at a time and to date, not the 1st bit of trouble…

GONE TO THE RIVER!!!!! YEEEEEHAAAAA!!!!

LOOKS LIKE A GREAT TIME WITH A SMALL CROWD ON THE RIVER. AFTER SOME DROPS AND ADDS, LOOKS TO BE 7 BOATS.

Arkansas, Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee represented.

Should be a great trip....and yall at the screens now....pray for safe travels and better weather. Have some winds...but hail and lightening are not fun things this time of year.

Back on line about a week from now.

Byrdman... :smiled
:hug C-Brat Gatherings :hug2 :thup
Wish Yall Were Here!!!

AWESOME TRIP....GREAT FOLKS FROM THE C-BRATS!!!

It was truly great to meet so many new folks. The 7 brats and their boats had a blast. We were treated to a "False Fall Foliage Cruise" due to a heavy freeze that colored many of the hardwood trees lining the cliffs and hills that the Cumberland winds thru. Nothing like the true bright fall colors....but should produce some interesting photos....and for sure spurred interest in a true fall Foliage cruise. Dates to be announced soon after family and football schedules are hashed out.

Pics to follow.

CAPT. BYRDMAN,
GLAD TO HEAR YOU GUYS HAD A GREAT TIME. LINDA AND RATHER HAD BEEN WITH THE GROUP THAN THE OFFICE. HIRE A NEW GIRL, TRAINING IS SLOW BUT STEADY. JUST FOR YOUR INFO, WHILE YOU GUYS WERE PLAYING AROUND, I ON THE OTHER HAND WAS SUFFERING WITH AN ABSCESSED MOLAR. PAIN WAS AN 8 OR 9. COULDN'T GET OUT OF BED SUNDAY OR MONDAY, UNTIL 2:00 FOR THE SHOWER AND THEN OFF TO THE DENTIST. DENTIST TELLS ME ROOT CANAL, OK, DO IT AND GET ME OUT OF PAIN. DRILLS THE TOOTH, CLEANS OUT THE ROOTS, AND FINES A SUBSTANTIAL CRACK, CAN'T FINISH, DECIDES NOW HAVE TO EXTRACT THE TOOTH. OK, DO IT, JUST GET ME OUT OF PAIN, STARTS PULLING, THE NOW WEAKENED TOOTH, AND PULLS THE TOP OFF, NOW GOT TO DIG FOR THE ROOTS, YOU KNOW THE STORY, OK, JUST DO IT AND GET ME OUT OF PAIN. ONE HOUR AND FORTY MINUEST LATER, WHAT A FRIGGIN TOOTH FROM HELL DAY.
SO, I HOPE YOU CONSUMED AT LEAST ONE BEER FOR ME!
BEST REGARDS
PAT
PS. IT'S NOT EASY BEING ME!
