01/29 - 01/31 - 2010 Seattle Boat Show/C-Brat Convention

Tentative line up that will be in the Seattle Show:

16 Cruiser
19 Angler
22 Cruiser (2010)
26 Venture
255 Tomcat

That looks like about all the room we'll have, as we have a lot less room this year than last year. Gotta keep costs down in this economy.

Boats we have on order:
22 Cruiser
23Venture
255 Tomcat

No ETA on these boats, but I expect 30-60 days or more.

I have two tickets that I will not be able to use. They are $12.50 on the website. anyone want them for $10 for the two? I can mail them. They have my name on them, but no one ever checks at the door.

Any chance that Sea Sport will kick in some boat show tickets for Brats attending the gathering?

I doubt it.

Is anyone interested in attending the VIP night on Thursday before the show opens officially? There is a no host bar, free hor duerves (sp?), free parking, and the chance to see the boat portion of the show before the show opens.

To attend, you would need to have a ticket, and RSVP with the Boat Show, as there is a limit to the number of people who can attend.

Anyone interested, drop my a message with an mailing address. We are working on getting invitations out today and tomorrow. We have a limited number of tickets to send out, so first asked, first sent.

I got a call from a non-C-Dory dealer offering me tickets. They said they would leave them at will call for me. Thus, I suspect you can get free tickets from many sources.

I may have to get another set if I go more than one day (unlikely).

I'm sad to say, that Ann & I will not make it to the boat show this year. We have been to the last six or seven shows. It is always fun to look through the boats and see whats new in the booths, but what we will really miss is catching up with all the friends we have made over the years. I look forward to seeing you all this summer. Hope you have a great time.

Regarding the cruise, etc. I am planning to arrive at the hotel on Friday afternoon, hang out with the Brats (including potluck?), and go to the boat show on Saturday. I'll head home on Sunday late morning.

With that schedule, assuming others are doing the same, there will not be enough time for a cruise on Saturday afternoon. I'm primarily interested in the CBGT and the SBS, in that order. So, unless someone other than me steps forward and puts something definitive together I will just plan on making ad hoc dinner arrangements for Saturday on Friday night.

Is there any interest in a swap meet of items folks are willing to trade/sell at the CSGT? I have always thought that this would be a great part of a gathering. The factory no longer has the sale so maybe we could do our own.

You bet, swap, trade or donate! We'll bring some stuff for sure!

I have a lot of fishing gear and crap stuff Iam looking to get rid off. I may take photos to post ahead of time so I only bring what people want.

How about a little fund raising. for the pot luck we could collet donated items from the members and have a live auction to raise a few bucks for the site. I would be glad to run it if people would like to do that seprate from the swap items.

David,
We will be there Friday/Saturday. Will pick up tank/tackle if it makes it there. Sorry to miss the chance to meet you. PM sent.

Jon, I am sending the tank and tackle with Warren (Doryman) along with a bunch of other stuff. You can put the money in the pot towards the week-end.

Meet you sometime later I am sure.
