THE SEATTLE BOAT SHOW DATES FOR 2007 ARE JANUARY 26th THRU
FEBRUARY 4th.

I know it's may be a little early to start thinking about this but I like to
plan ahead, especially on this event.

Big question is which weekend will the C-Brat gathering and
the C-Dory factory event be on. Typically it has been on the 1st weekend, notwithstanding pllayoff football games. I'll assume that the
1st weekend is a safe bet, at least unless I hear otherwise.

OOOOOHHHHHH NNNNNOOOOOOOO NOT YET !!!!!!!!!

I am NOT ready for this yet....lol....

Actually I have been in contact with the motel and they are anxious for us to give them the dates for the shindig. I told them that we would probably need the whole big room this year for the friday night social. they are willing to work with us on that. It worked out well for us last year. I am already looking forward to putting this together and spending some time getting to meet more of you all.

After the event this last year all the people that posted remarks about the parties and how they enjoyed them, well I was only able to remember meeting about half of all who said they were there.

OH, Bye the way Mark,
how is the better half getting along there. I hope the surgery that she had during the boat show last went well and all is mending. Give her a hug from the Johnsons for us will ya !!!!

we where just able to make it to the factory gig this year, we hope to do better next year.......I looked at the NFL schedule, and the boat show is tucked in between the conference championship game and the super blow so football won't be an issue.

you da man Roger

Hey Roger, I figured you were on top of the 2007 SBS, so no surprise there. I have the feeling the Airlines are going to be getting tighter down the road so I'm going to lock up arrangements NOW! How's that for being ready? I'll go ahead and plan on the 1st weekend.

Thanks for asking, Betty is doing fine with her new hip. They're matching now and I'm going to have to consider letting her drag an anchor so I can keep up wih her (actually, so I can catch her). I'll pass that hug along.

OK, Roger da man! Hopefully Jeff Messmer will also be da man! Jeff - do we have to hide the keg in the bushes again this year?

Once again...Roger has been put in charge, whether he likes it or not.

OK all
It has been decided that the gathering will be the 26th - 28th of Jan. 2007.
the factory is going to do something for us that weekend. Probably on Saturday evening at the factory. (more info to come)
we will definatly have a social evening at the Motel on Friday evening.
The BIG question is , are you all happy with the Hawthorn Suites where we have been the last two years. if so I will set up the schedule with them. they are anxious for us to come there again. (I guess we didn't do to much damage...lol...)The room we used last year for the Friday party, can be enlarged one more section so we should have enough room.

Let's stay right there!

Excellent suites, good prices, convenient location, use of the meeting room, cooperative and understanding management, what else could we want?

Plus it's easier for Roger to not reinvent the wheel!

Joe.

Hey Roger,

Please put our vote in for the Hawthorne Suites. Not only is it a great place to stay but I know how to get there...not that I EVER get lost

Something to think about:

I was talking to Catman tonight (Private Message), and mentioned that some of my best friends are right here on this website.

In fact, I'm disappointed when some can't come to the SBS/SBC.

And two days doesn't ever seem to be long enough to visit with all the folks I want to talk to in person, so.....

Is there any interest in adding a day to the January event to have an excuse to spend some time together?

I don't know if we'd need to have another "formal" event on the extra day or so, but just some more time.

What I'm thinking of doing this next year is going to Seattle a day or two early, and getting the Boat Show out of the way first, say on Thursday, so that I can visit with folks on Friday and Saturday.

Joe.

Good idea, Dan.

I've been invited out fishing the last two years by folks (Anita Marie's Fred, and starcraftom ) up there in Seattle, but, unfortunately, the weather has had the final say and cut us off.

I'll be especially looking forward to visiting with the Green Phantom this year!

Joe.

the last two years I have stayed at the motel starting on Wed or Thur. and it is great to go to the show early. it is less crowded on the first day and it gives me time to visit with all in the following days. when you sign up with Linda she will be able to get the same price for motel rooms as the weekend . and remember that all weekdays except friday there is a full dinner meal and also breakfast complimentry with the rooms. Lats year we did the show in thirds. one third of the show and then off to Pyrimid brewery accrosss the street for some libations, then back for the next third of the show and then back to the brewery for some more swill, then back for the remaing part of the show, and back to the brewery for dinner.( and more barley pop.It makes the whole show fun and relaxing....lol.....

Roger-

Count me in- I'll be up there by Wednesday!

:beer  :beer  :beer  :beer  :beer :crook :beer :crook :beer :crook :wink :thup
