Roger/SeaDNA, I don't have any Navarro Chardonay (we discovered that place on our honeymoon in 1989 when reporting for duty at Ft. Ord, CA) but I'll see what I can scrounge up from Sonoma and you're on!

Well, Thomas Kemper does make the finest root beer I've ever tried!

I am going to bring a special appetizer for those bold enough to try it for Friday night (much to my wife's chagrin). I won't mention here what it is but you can learn more if you can find that thread about the Halloween Varmint. C.W.

Au contraire! The finest root beer in the world comes from the Snoqualmie Brewing Company, Pat Anderson Da Prez. Of Course I'm biased about that too.

Marty - he did say the finest root beer he had ever tried. Perhaps he (like me) has never had the Snoqualmie Falls Brewing company root beer.

Yeah, that's right, I don't think Snoqualmie knows how to brew root beer.... so prove me wrong.... (crude attempt at a freebie).

Hey, if it hadn't have been for my dog.... I might not have recognized what that growling patch of blackness was in the shadows was in time... C.W.

Thanks, Marty! And we have a connection of sorts to Thomas Kemper root beer...Rande Reed, our head brewer, was the head brewer of Thomas Kemper in Poulsbo and later corporate head brewer of Pyramid / Thomas Kemper in Seattle. The Snoqualmie root beer however is mine...I can't say if Rande has changed it over time however. The "secret" - the cat is out of the bag - is that our root beer is partially sweetened with honey, which makes a big contribution to the flavor!

I feel like I'm going “Out to Hollywood to Meet the Stars”

Well, in this case Hollywood is Seattle and the Stars are Sea Wolf, Pat Anderson, Starcrafttom, rogerbum, oldgrowth, Da Nag, Captain’s Cat, DaveS, Doryman, dotnmarty and many others. I'm really bummed that Sea Wolf will now not be attending as he is my favorite since he learned probably long ago that "a picture is worth a 1000 words".

Being a C-dory wanabe for about 4 months now and after reading just about every post during that time, I thought that I might as well come crosscountry to Seattle to see everything first hand. And with Southwest Airline’s $99 fare from Orlando to Seattle, it will cost me more to drive the one hour from my New Smyrna Beach home and park at the Orlando airport.

Just wanted to say, Thank You, to all of you who take your time to explain things so well. I did have the pleasure of meeting the Diva Star, Thataway, at the last Gulf Coast Gathering several months ago. Of course, I didn’t realize that he was the Star as he was very unassuming and graciously showed me his boat and answered my questions. Probably doesn’t even remember me, but thanks again, Bob.

A buddy of mine is coming out with me as he has a son who lives in Seattle. And since we will be in Seattle a full week, we won't be staying at the Hawthorne, but have opted for the Downtown Vintage Park Hotel. But, we hope to meet many of you at the Friday and Saturday night functions. I'm really getting excited!! Steve

GETTING DOWN TO THE WIRE HERE ON TICKETS...

MYSELF, SENSEI & LARRY H are finalizing boat show tickets...or attempting to. Sort of hard connecting the dots when we do not have a boat name, a C-Brat Screen Name, real or at least used first and last names of folks...so with our C-Brat Union cards in hand... here is our best effort attempting to do this with Roger still at work, me on the east side of the country and flying NW on Wednesday, and Larry H attempting to keep up with where Roger and I are....

Right now, we have 4 "families" picking up tickets at the WILCALL WINDOW as best that Larry H and myself can tell. Roger is hauling potatos as that is how he pays for SENSEI and fun...so we are attempting to bring some closure to this ticket process, making sure tickets are available, and at the same time, not hurt C-Dory by us having free tickets that they can use later in the show week... we are working with well over 100 tickets donated to us C-Brats by C-Dory. They do not have to do this and we truly appreciate them doing so. At the same time, we do not want to waste a single ticket so here is the plan....kinda.

Roger Johnson/SENSI, Larry H and or myself will pick up most tickets Thursday moring, dropping the following tickets off at the WILLCALL window, in the C-Dory Factory Box, for the 4 families listed below.

SEASHIFT - DAVE S - 2 TICKETS @ WILLCALL
C-RUN - ROBBI - 2 TICKETS @ WILLCALL
LIL'RASCAL - LIL RASCAL - 2 TICKETS @ WILLCALL
CD WANTABE - STEPHEN WILLIAMS - 4 TICKETS @ WILLCALL

These 4 families/boats will need to have ID on them with their first and last name as to pick up tickets at the WILLCALL window. Thanks...we have first and last names matched up on these 4 familes. Yall done good!

NOW..TO ACCOUNT AND HAND OUT THE OTHER 100 PLUS...

We have 19 families checking in on Thursday, and their boat show tickets will be at the hotel, more than likely one of use will be in the lobby handing out tickets as folks sign in...or will end up gathering a bit Thursday night for your tickets for you to use at the boat show Friday on out. SO...FIND YOUR TICKETS THRUSDAY EVENING PLEASE...at the hotel.

We have 19 other familes checking in on Friday, and their boat show tickets will also be at the hotel....and we will hope to have some type of sign in the lobby as to where the tickets are, or, have the tickets by then in the hotel lobby for you to pick up as you sign in...if we have all the first name last name info.... IMPORTANT THAT WE CAN MATCH FIRST NAMES, LAST NAMES, BOAT NAMES, C-BRAT SCREEN NAMES as to leave your tickets. If we can do a mix and match between us, your tickets will be in the party room Friday night...and may get turned back in to C-Dory Saturday if not claimed ....along with any tickets that should have been picked up Thursday. This just allows C-Dory to keep from paying for tickets that are not used.

We have LUNA-C and RAVEN DANCER signing in Friday night, we have their first last names with the reservations, and the hotel will have their tickets more than likely...or in the gathering room Friday night.

HAVING SAID THAT.. IF THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU AND/OR YOUR FAMILY... NOW IS THE TIME TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND CONTACT ROGER WITH YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME, AND HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO COORDINATE YOUR TICKETS.... PM ROGER AND/OR PM ME...BYRDMAN..

WEDNESDAY NIGHT, ROGER AND I WILL ATTEMPT TO CONNECT THE DOTS.

This is going to be an interesting year. Those of you who have attempted to organize these C-Brats gatherings and connect the dots realize what an opportunity to excell this really is.... and it is fun.

Realize, we are all just volunteers, love our fellow C-Brats...and are holding our C-Brat union presidents (TYBOO & DA NAG) fully responsible.

Byrdman...See Yall Soon!

hey there Ya'll
just got off the phone with the factory and they asked me to post the times for the party/open house on Saturday evening.

Pat-I don't know a lot of things but I know my root beer and yours is the best by far, by far........! What?..whatdayamean wrong thread?..Oh well....

Roger,

Once a Brat, Always a Brat!!! :teeth

Larry-
When are you getting a C-Dory?

And the answer is:
When my finances recover!!! :sad

So, when are you getting another C-Dory? :wink

See you at the SBS-CBGT!!

>Larry-
>When are you getting a C-Dory?

Larry's C-Dory now lives a couple of blocks from where I live. I still think of it as Larry's C-Dory. So, he's cool.

Dave
