    A new "Thataway"

Bob, congratulations on the new THATAWAY, we both miss your old TomCat, and the one before it too. Our cruising desires are different however, we stick a lot closer to home. Had considered selling our house and newer to us 22 but I think I've convinced Sally to stick it out here on our plot...

    Daydream's Great Loop Blog!

Pat, Active Captain has very current updates from boats headed down the ICW for the winter. If it's integrated with your chart plotter, it will be very helpful. Their FB page also has very current info, before it even gets in AC. Charlie

Are these pix from the same boat?

Brent, go to the top of the thread and click on Fuel Systems and look at the pics for Fuel Systems in the CB Tech Library. Thanks for all the answers all, the rear of the switch is hard for me to access, but I'll do it in the morning!! Charlie

Steering with twin engines: Differential Throttle Control

Paul, just get out, away from everything and start with both engines at idle and one forward and one astern and watch what happens. (Steering straight ahead). Then after a few minutes switch both. You'll find that the boat will react differently because both props turn the same direction and...

    Nice Nordic Tug

Congratulations Dave! My last day is Nov 30 but that Nordic draws a little too much for our creek. Would be no problem today though, this storm has pushed water a foot over the top of my pier! It's still 2' from the bottom of the C Dory on the lift though. Charlie
