Looking at a 2006 C-22, the photos show a full glass door

and a flat cockpit floor. Is the flat floor permanently attached to the hull? Is it hollow underneath? The cockpit also showed coaming boxes on both sides as well as a longer step on both sides. Much better arrangement than the 05 we just sold IMO.

    Quick question regarding time.

Nancy wanted to know how long (on average) it would take to go from Bellingham to Friday harbor. I know, it depends, but a SWAG would work for us. Our granddaughter goes to college at WWu and may spend the summer there as her apt rent is year round. At 76 and 75, I told Nancy I don't know how...

One of these things is not like another, one of these things

doesn't belong. I bought two new hatches for the stern. Removed the starboard one first, no problem. Removed the port one to find that the screws had leaked on the forward end, balsa core rotted. Grrrr. The new port covers the screw holes so that shouldn't be a problem in the future. If...

    Thank you.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the posts here. Yesterday I thought I should install the kicker bracket on Emma Mae. A search took me directly to the post that I needed with pictures and advice. Fair winds to you all.

Trim tab locations and fish finder mount.

Looking at various photos, it seems that most owners want their trim tabs as far outboard as possible. If they are mounted that way, then the fish finder transducer has to be mounted inboard of them. Is that a problem for the fish finder operation?

    Requesting recommendation on prop

We just re-powered with a 90 HP Merc. Have enough hours on it now that I can run it up to WOT. 5,000 max RPM's . Should be closer to 6,000. Current prop is 3 blade 13.5 X 15. What prop would allow me to have higher RPM's at WOT. Thanks in advance. PS: After waiting months, Bass Pro came...

    Recommendation for a fish finder.

Have a Garmin chart plotter with all the maps and GPS. Looking for a lower end fish finder that doesn't need to have all the bells and whistles but will work well enough to catch fish. Fishing Table Rock Lake early next month if our outboard shows up before then. Thanks for any...

After having decided I wasn't going to pour more money into

a 15 year old motor, I took it off Emma Mae and sold it on CL. On July 8 I ordered a 90 hp Mercury from Bass Pro. Was told delivery would be in 5 to 7 business days. After 15 business days I called as I had not heard anything. Was told it was there. Completed purchase and took to offsite...

    Wallas Stove not working

Talked to the company. Followed their instructions. Volt meter shows pump is not getting a pulsed signal to pump. If it was the pump it was going to cost $250 for the pump alone. Now???? New circuit board???????? Sounds like an expensive repair. Will know more tomorrow...

We've searched extensively for the procedure to de-carbonize

a Wallas cooktop/heater without success. Maybe my search skills are deficient and I need a tutorial/mentor to show me how to find this info. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. From all that I read this morning Wallas owners are bi-polar: They either LOVE them...

2005 Honda 4 stroke with carbs. Carb flooding and other

problems. Starts right up cold using fast idle lever. Takes a while to warm up. When fast idle lever is lowered to shift into gear, engine dies. Trying to restart results in flooding of 3 of the four cylinders. It floods so much that you can smell gas and it streams out of a small spout on the...
