Unless I was doing something wrong, it looks like the album for the Katie Kat as been locked up, yes? I was just curious, because I had a few more photos to add to it regarding some of the cockpit stuff. I'll still add them if I can.
I'm in the process of switching these out. They had worked fine up until this last time, when I replaced the batteries, and one side was not working.
No biggie(other then the usual braille method I use when working in this area) i decided to change them out.
I started on the side that wasn't...
I have had the Guest 2610 on the Katie Kat from beginning until now. When i put the AGM's in, 4 years ago(just changed back to a Napa Dual Purpose), the Charger was still working. Either the age, or not liking the AGM's, has resulted in it not working now.
I looked at one of the other threads...
I've put the Katie Kat up for sale, and I'm going to be replacing the bilge pumps and float switches.
The easiest, is just to replace whats there.
The Port side was a no go. The switch was definitely bad, I haven't tested the pump to see if it'd work via a bench test. The Starboard kicked on...
We just aren't using this boat. I kept telling myself I would, but I'm not getting to it.
It's time for somebody else who can enjoy it, to own it. I'll run it here on C-Brats for a month, before kicking it onto Boattrader.com.
There are pictures of the Katie Kat in the albums. Here's a link...
The stove was signed out of the factory in 02. It's the model 125DU.
Lack of use is probably going to be a big factor here.
The stove worked properly when we first got the boat(fall 03).
I believe it worked well in 06 or 07? Also, I switched to Klean Heat at that time. The diesel fuel was...
I saw some really spiffy backing plates for outboards, that go on the inside of the transom, and have either Honda or other brand of motor stamped on them.
I can swear I saw them here, but it's been awhile back.
Anybody familiar with these? Anybody have a link maybe?
Thanx,
Gordon
I'm looking for a source for corrosion resistant concealed cabinet hinges.
I'm reworking the lid to the storage area, in the cockpit of my TC24. I'm raising the seat area to make room for storing an eu2000 inside.
The factory screwed a regular hinge on top of the lid, and screwed it to the...
I recently had a new top made for our Tomcat by the folks at "Pro Welders" in Sopchoppy Florida. The Boat was getting a fuel tank replaced by the guys at Wefing, and Marc Grove thought "Pro Welders" would be able to help out.
Those of you who have been around, will notice a similarity to the top...
Has anyone else had a leaky tank? The starboard tank on my Tomcat leaked 40 gals into the bilge(melted at least the rear foam flotation block. The bag they put them in didn't melt but didn't do a very good job of holding the gooie mess).
The boat/motors have less than 30 hours, and the boat was...
Driving north on I-55 yesterday, I spotted a red and white C-Dory being pulled by a truck for hire. It was either a 22 or 25 footer, I was suprised to see it. It was sitting smartly upon its trailer heading south in the boot heel of Missouri.
Is this a new boat being delivered, a used boat being...
I have water entering cockpit drains, when I'm not moving out on the gulf. The water drains out immediately when we start moving. Is there a better idea than the rubber muffler flap? Are any of the rest of you having a problem with this?
Thanks,
Gordon
