****** Just found out that the NC Cedar Island ferries expect to enter the Ocracoke Big Foot Channel on June the 8th at approximately one hour and ten minutes after departure from Cedar Island. They travel at about 12mph. This is a good way to follow the ferry in the channel into Silver Lake...
