    Raising the bar

Great read and one I constantly work on to improve. Last year I traveled to Canada and shot hours of video and took way to many stills. Fast forward here a bit. Back at my PC and wading through all the stills and way to many 3 minute video shots. Walk away with head spinning. I return to...

    Expired Flare Question

Terry, I kept mine as spares in my life raft. When I purchased my boat it had expired flares. After replacing them with new ones the old ones went as spares only in the raft. May have to fire one off if I'm out on the water the 4th of July after giving the coast guard a call.

    I-pad use

Agree totally Casey. It's important to keep an ear to the wind as data plans are always changing. It only gets better and better for the consumer. With so many companies out for you're business they offer more and more and at cheaper prices. It's a win win for all of us.

    I Pad Login problem

Just a guess Gary but turn your Ipad all the way off. Not a sleep, off. That reboots it and the problem may disappear. Solved many a problem with software by doing just that.

    Alder Bay Vancouver Island

Tom I use a cannon vixia hfs20 video camera for everything above water and a GoPro for under water. I was lucky to meet up with a fellow when I arrived that put me on to some good locations for Halibut. The salmon locations were even easier yet as you just follow the fleet every morning...

    Alder Bay Vancouver Island

Thanks Harvey, yea it looks like I left a short piece of video on the end. When I processed the video I forgot to take it out. Duhhhhh. That's what happens when you get it half done and leave it for awhile. Senior moment. :)

    Alder Bay Vancouver Island

This last August long time fishing partner Duayne Mckinney and I traveled to the north end of Vancouver Island and stayed at Alder Bay Resort. We fished and cruised the Broughton Islands for two weeks. What a place to say the least. Can't wait to go back again. After that we traveled to the...

    Closed off my splashwell

There are a number of different types Mike to choose from. I would just Google ( fish bags ) and start there. They are great for a 22 as it frees up deck space.

    Question about Moisture control

Hi Terry I too only use the Dri-z and they have worked fine. I have never left any windows open during the winter. My boat is under cover all winter and open to the air. I live in Klamath Falls and we have a lot of moisture as you do. Never have I found moisture to be an issue in the...
