    Cooling water alarm

Glad you figured it out! I had the same alarm problem and it ended up being one of the heat sensors on the engine. Carl at EQ hooked it up to the 'puter, looked at the data, saw it was the heat sensor and replaced it. Problem solved!

    Additional shrimping days in Wa.

As one of the critics of WDFW for the confusion on shrimping limit increases and sudden closures, I will be emailing or calling the members of the Advisory Group and the crustacean biologists - Don Velasquez, Katelyn Bosley and Aaron Dufault to thank them for the additional days they gave us...

    Honda buzzer

I had an overheat (continuous) buzzer recently on my '05 Honda 90. Unplugging it resulted in a 'double beep' instead of a continuous one. Turned out to be a faulty sensor. Thanks Carl and EQ!

    Shrimp closure in MA 6

I don't understand how WDFW can increase the limit in MA 6 and 2 weeks later, close the season because the quota had been reached! This is the 3rd (or 4th) time that's happened in the last 5 years!! And it was the quickest closure and the shortest notice - 1 day - than any of the other ones...

    Stuck window

I have had difficulty opening the side windows but discovered that if I push the latch AND apply pressure to 'nudge' the window forward, it opens up just fine. The latch on Plan C is just very tight! And I appreciate the hints for cleaning! Dan

No overflow parking at Cornet Bay for the opening

The trailer parking at Cornet Bay launch this morning was only 1/2 full! Maybe everyone's waiting until this afternoon for a better tide? (Low was .75 this morning)

No overflow parking at Cornet Bay for the opening

No overflow parking at Cornet Bay for the opening

The Cornet Bay launch will be open Tuesday as will the restrooms BUT.... the overflow parking will NOT. Usually the Park opens the road down to Hoypus to accommodate the crowds on an openings like Lingcod/Shrimp/Salmon/Crab. The upper lot and the spaces next to the launch will be open. There...

I need a contact at Honda other than Customer (dis)Service

The motor is 11 years old and, yes, I know Honda's were popular on C Dory's. Mine - Plan C - was originally rigged by the good folks at EQ. My issue is the problems I've experienced were known to Honda. Yup, I'm out of warranty but they have not been cooperative or forthcoming about the problems...

I need a contact at Honda other than Customer (dis)Service

The 2nd issue now with my Honda BF90D - first the ECU that ultimately had to be replaced and just now the leaky thermostat cover which turns out to be a material defect in the power head. My research indicates Honda is/was aware of both of these and had some recall activity but not for the 90...

Best way to freeze spot prawns

Parts of the shells and tails of the uncooked spot prawns we are pulling from the freezer are black. We've always frozen them individually on a cookie tray and put them in Ziplocks bags. Anyone got an idea of what's going on or what do to to keep them better?

Anyone familliar with crab pots that fish differently?

At the end of last year and so far this year, there's been a dramatic difference between two different types of pots I have. There are 2 really nice pots - round, stainless mesh, green vinyl coated, entrance ramps and 1/2 of the top opens up. I've got (now) rusty sash weights in the black...

Drain plug - internal or externala?

I have always put the transom drain plug on the inside of the boat. Until last year, a neighbor and very experienced boater, suggested it go on the outside. That way if anything happens to it, the water pressure will keep in in place. "Something could hit it and knock it off" was my initial...

Water showing under access port under the port-a-potty

'04 22' Cruiser. When I open up the access port under the porta potty, I saw 1/2" or so of water. Sponged it out and forgot about it, thinking it was condensation? Is it?
