Image of C-Dory 16 needed...
Expectations of journalistic accuracy and/or integrity are pretty low nowadays. Just plug in a picture of a 22, put the fine print that says "from file" or similar, and call it good. Plus that'll give us subject matter for a future thread on the web site....- dogon dory

Favorite Small Boat Harbor
It is hard to imagine, isn't it? But I'm afraid I ate one too many corn dogs at a gas station across the street while working on our Westsail after the road trip from Texas. Plus my truck got broken into and I lost a bunch of tools. I just can't love the place. :sad- dogon dory

Alaska Series - 270 SDS Seward
We use an Alaska series inflatable too. It is set up better then most for rowing. With most inflatable as Bob suggested, I usually paddle. With the AK series I usually use the oars unless there are too many occupants in the boat to allow the sweep of the oars (another negative aspect of oars)...- dogon dory

Cruising without a refigerator
Common olefactory sense... :smile A good cooler will stay as cold or colder than a fridge if you don't open it too much. If you keep beer, softdrinks, etc. in a separate, small cooler, then you don't have to open the food cooler every time you want something to drink and the food will stay...- dogon dory

Handling question
One of the negative aspects of the C-Dory's flat bottom is poor handling as slow speed. The only "grip" you've got on the water is the foot of the motor. As previously stated, right angle to the wake and if you can't go across at speed, then at least apply power as you cross so the back end of...- dogon dory

Maiden Voyage of the Triple J
