I made a custom arm that connects the two and they aren't hitting. If the bar is disconnected and the two motors are turned in opposite directions they will hit. Hope that helps

Stole this idea from Dogon Dory. Only difference is that I thought I would save $$ by using a block of wood that I covered in fiberglass, sanded then painted. Total cost: $25.00. Had to raise the kicker because of the front of it rubbing against the steering cable after the new Yami install...

Just got my Boat back today with my new Yamaha 75. Is the Yamaha multi function tach supposed to have a backlight so you can see it in the dark? Mine doesn't seem to light up. Just wondering if I have it hooked up wrong. Is there a way to turn it off and on?

Well I went with the 2003 model. Was a 1000.00 cheaper than the EFI model. Boat has been at the dealer waiting to get rigged up for two weeks. Hope they finish it soon. I plan on talking to the mechanic to see the best way to winterize the carbs.

Just curious to how much it costs to launch at Whittier. Tunnel fee? Launching + parking?

Thats who I've been dealing with. You got lucky with them. Their jerks, some of the most rudest folks I've ever delt with. If they didn't have such a good price I would avoid them at all costs. Went in there today and they made me wait about an hour only to tell me to come back this weekend...
