Just though I would share some photos from our recent week in Seldovia AK. I am starting to think with 2 boys I am going to need a 25ft boat in the future. I hope everyone is out having many adventures.

Great pics! Wow you shure did get really close to that eagle. I wanted to go out this weekend so bad but my boat is waiting at the shop getting rigged with the new motor. If you don't mind me asking, where abouts did you catch the lings?

Got the lings in about 115 feet of water on some structure about 2 miles Seldovia side of flat island.

catdogcat - do you have an uncle that is a fireman - I met a guy in an older glass boat that mentioned he had a nephew that was getting a new Yamah on his boat and could not make it out.

Cheers,

Joe

Wow what a coincident! That was my uncle! We usually go out together every time we get the chance. He's been really rubbing it in that I haven't been able to go out the last couple of weeks. Amazing that you guys ended up talking. If you look at my photo album you can see that I'm washing my boat at the Fire Training Center. Thats him taking my daughter for a ride in the fire truck.

Hi lloyds,

If you are referring to my friends boat "Miss Charity" he had that aluminum work done by a fab guy down in Sterling called Mike's Welding - it ended up a little stouter than he liked but it sure works good with the cover over the top. I have dreamed up several different ideas for canvasing the back in, but lot's of times I really like it open.

I actually had it strapped on top for a while, but if it was not dead center it was tough to keep the boat level and imagine it was not too good on gas consumption - but hey - it looks cool.
