    Bilge Pump and hose install

Thanks guys - Will be installing a washdown pump soon as well. I can use the same type of hose as the bilge if I go with a different brand? Looks like Trident series 147 would be good for both the bilge and washdown pump?

    Bilge Pump and hose install

Going to install a new bilge pump (Johnson ultima 1250 and new bilge hose) Have a couple questions. 1 - The old Rule 1100 strainer was either epoxied or 5200? was used to attach to hull. No screws. Dont wanna screw and instructions call for a 1/2" backing plate then screw in to backing plate...

Entry Level C Dory Angler 22' coming in White Rock BC

Thanks for the reply - I get it now. When I bought my 19 it had nothing installed which was perfect for me. I got to mount and install everything the way I wanted. I would call our boats when we bought them the PERFECT canvas to do what you want. Good luck on your sale.

    New Bilge Pump

Hello all - Looking to replace my old bilge pump (Rule 1100) with new on my 19' Angler. Any recommendations on manufactures and model numbers that are good or pumps to stay away from. Was looking at possibly going with Johnson. Will be used in saltwater a lot. Thanks everybody in advance.

    Another washdown pump ?

Sorry for all the questions. Where is the normal/best place to install my washdown pump. I was thinking above the port tank but am concerned about electrical and gas close to each other. It is going on a 19' Angler.

    Thru-Hull fitting length

Yes that’s the area. It’s where my bilge pump is mounted also. ½” thick is all , ok. I was told by the factory the new boats are all fiberglass in that area so that would be great if my 2008 is that way also. Won’t need to worry about sealing the core right? Will still line the walls with epoxy...
