Rollie: I assume I can pull it out but it would just shrink again. It's been in the high 70's here so I can't imagine I'm risking further expansion. Dunno. Think I'd like to try some small pieces on the transom and see how it works. Dick

I've got a 1999 22 footer and have recently reattached both rub rails. My inserts have shrunk and I need a little over a foot to fill in the void. Has anyone who has replaced their rub rail insert saved the old one? I'd gladly pay a bit plus shipping for a small piece. Thanks. Dick
