Just got back from a fishing trip in Quatsino Sound. 3 slow days followed by a crazy last evening bite with multiple double headers of 16-20 lb chinook! Ran into Checkpoint II (19 Angler) in Winter Harbour and fished together off and on for a couple of days!

Monica and I plan to head up from Victoria on Friday afternoon. Are we planning a potluck on Saturday? Any thing else planned. We plan to take a couple of days heading back to Victoria through the northern gulf islands.

Looks Like Mike and Monica (and Jenny?) will be coming again this year. We will likely arrive around or after dinner time on Friday as we won't be able to get away from Victoria until around 4 or 5.

The 40W unit does have a controller which will allow things to trickle once the battery is charged. I will experiment with charging the "house" battery, which I think is #2.

Just back from a great 6 day paddling trip in the Nuchatlitz. I am still planning to come down town for the potluck Sat Eve. I hope to go to Port Alberni tomorrow to pick up Natural C-lection. I was having them do some work on it for me.
