When I had the cockpit fill with water (another story), when I drained it, I saw water spurting out of the tiny hole in the cockpit floor by the stbd gas tank!

Thanks, I think the back will work for both trailer and in the water as the bow seems to be high in both cases. Would this be a warranty issue?

Thanks. I was planning on bedding the bracket and then making sure that the bolts were well-gooped. Planning on having a fender washer and nylock nut on each bolt in the cabin.

When drilling through the deck (I am installing a bow ladder as per the photos in Sea Wolf's thread) in the area where the non skid is. Should I bed the bracket with 3M 4200 or something?

Does anyone happen to know how thick the deck is on the bow of a CD22? I need to bolt a ladder mount through the deck and would like to know what length of bolts to get before I drill...

I think I solved my ethanol gas problem by virtually draining the tanks over our trip - about 39 hours on the motors, about 250 litres of fuel burned and about 390 km covered. I have just a tiny bit left in each tank, which will be well diluted by the next fill of good marine gas.

I have been fishing with Natural C-lection and by kayak many times in Clayoquot Sound and have also been to Hot Springs cove (with both kayak and C-dory!) Happy to answer any questions. I would also join folks if I am around!
