I'll second the 6hp Tohatsu. I don't have a kicker on my C-Dory, but I used to have a Catalina 22 with the 6hp Tohatsu sail pro version and it was a great motor on the Catalina.

I too have a C-Dory because of "River Horse". Dr. Bob mentioned using Google Earth to start your voyage and I love voyaging by Google Earth when I'm stuck at work. I searched and finally found a .kmz file that has the complete route color coded by section. It will not let me attach it here...
