Do you have a wallas stove? Check the through hull fitting for the exhaust. I used high temp gasket sealer to seal where the exhaust goes through the hull.

Run away from that boat as fast as you can!!!! Do not waste your money!!! My first C-Dory, Fishtales, an 02 model had a hull that was flexing--- Joel mentioned it in his post. The hull had delaminated and was tearing apart. Luckily I had bought the boat new and the factory replaced the hull.

I have been hailed on the CB by other drivers asking about the boat while on the road.

My 2002 CD 22 delaminated and fell apart. The factory replaced the hull in 2008.

I'm putting in for time off- hoping to do Catalina this year. If able to go--- we will be leaving from Channel Islands Harbor for the 4 hour trip to Two Harbors on Sunday 7/30 and returning to Channel Islands Harbor on Saturday 8/5.

We have been having high winds the past 2 days here- gusts of 30 - 40 mph. The Delta has been windy. The winds are supposed to be gone tomorrow (Saturday) and be calm for the rest of the weekend and into next week. I'll be boat up this weekend-- just wish I had the time for the Delta trip.

Pat and I would love to go---- but-- I just started a new project at UC Merced and will not have accrued enough PTO to take off work. We always enjoy this trip. I'll pass this year and let a new boat join in the great festivities of the cruise.

You need to know where you are and what the regulations are. Some MPAs are total closure, while some are open to taking pelagic fish only. Most current charts clearly show the MPA areas.

Another question about windshield wipers--- How do you adjust the tension to keep the wiper on the glass? I have the top mount wipers and they do not stay on the glass. I push them down on the glass and by the second pass they are just waving in the air.
