    I bought gas at Benicia a few years ago when I still had the dog of a Honda 90. That was a rough trip-- I had to buy gas at Petaluma, Sausalito and Benicia on that trip. Glad to finally get rid of the 90 and go back to twins.

    AIS receiver and display

    I installed all new Garmin system in C-Hawk and used my Triple West Marine rewards to pay for the AIS. The sales clerk eyes popped when I pulled out all those reward certificates-- I figure I got a free AIS.

    16 Angler and the Pacific Ocean

    If the 16 is what you want-- go for it. I now have a 22, but we used to go out of Port San Luis in an Arima 17, 35+ miles for albacore. We spent a lot of time on Cachuma for trout and around the Islands out of Santa Barbara in the Arima. As noted before--- pick your days on the big water.
