    Pearl Harbor's greatest lesson

I salute you Dusty and your generation. 9/11 cost more American lives than Pearl Harbor! This threat is not contained yet.

    Seattle Boat Show

Whilst in the Army I had a Private Major serve under me and at the same time I served under a Major Bone; talk about trying to keep a straight face! Also had a dentist in the clinic named Toothacher.

Saint John River, New Brunswick Ca.

DD, Rick and I were looking at this trip a year or so ago and had started to do some prliminary planning until the regional group decided to do Moosehead Lake and Jonesport. Any thing I have is at home (working now) but you might try contacting Rick. The reversing falls give you about 30 min...

    Mosel River

Favorite place to do a little wine probehren was Piesport, just don't probe too much! At many of the vieverkaft the owner will sit right down and do a little tasting right along with you. Wow, what a great cruise. Hope you'll have some bikes with you.

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Launched Widget for the first time this season at our cottage on Frenchman Bay, Gulf of Maine. Had glass smooth water and not another boat insight save a lobsterman pulling traps. Saw seals, porpoises, eagles and an osprey. The engine started on the second try and ran beautifully after being put...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Little black flakes in my water turned out to be the Whale foot pump diaphragm disentigrating.

secure parking for truck and trailer

Six of us left our rigs at Cedar Point State park for a week cruise across Lake Ontario to Kingston and up the Rideau to Ottawa. The park is about 10 miles SE of Clayton, NY. Plenty of parking and a gated entrance with ramp and slips. Clayton has a wooden cruiser museum and there is a town ramp...

    Deck core moisture and rot

Bob, My 2003 had the same issues with the deck fills for fuel and water in addition to the hatches. They all received the epoxy treatment as per your instructions. Makes one wonder about every breach of the deck skin such as the cleats, rails and hawsepipe.

    Moving Ashore

Some are just legends in their own minds. You are legends in C-Dory land! Just wish I could have cruised with you and Halcyon just once.

    A plea

And donate organs when possible! I have several patients that see well enough for a normal functional life only because of the gift of donated corneas (eyes). There is not much to look at below ground.

    Thisaway

I like the shade, is it 5200'd to the deck? What do you plan on using for a stove; don't think I've ever seen a "no stove option". Good idea on the aft rooftop grab rails.

    Fuel Fill Hose removal

I went through the same issue several years ago. Had to twist and pull and pry with wide blade screwdriver to get the hose off the deck filler. Seems I removed the mounting screws to lift the deck filler out of the gunnel and away from the hose. The cables have held well but occasionally get...

Need Help with New Side Guide Posts!

Should the horizontal box tubes be mounted beneath the trailer frame? Looks like the goal posts are plenty tall and looks like the hull could contact the box tubes as you load? Maybe just the perspective of the photo.

    Wallas Redux

My Wallas 95D from 2003 has never given a moments trouble and I have started it in the AM on a battery that was used to run it part of the night for heat along with lights and CPAP. It has never failed to start and I never need to have the motor running to start it. Always on high to start and...

    Cool new product-nano technology

This isn't new technology, Clark Griswold first developed this in 1989 and demonstrated it on his snow saucer. WOW! Just don't get this on your prop, you could run 2000 RPM without moving two feet!

Wallace stove heater does not work in my 2009 Cruiser.

Robbie, To make the stove prime on the first or second start just plug the vent line fron the fuel jug and apply gentle pressure to the side of the container and you will see the fuel advancing to the pump at which point you can release the vent line. This has worked for me several times.

I just purchased the LED anchor light bulb Rick mentioned above at WM for 1/2 price, $16.98. This is the bayonet base made by ANCOR. Some mention of being discontinued or new supplier.
