    16' Angler tips/tricks welcome

Bill, That is a great idea! Do you recall how much depth you had to work with on the 16? We installed an anchor locker on our 16C with deck pipe (I lost some floatation too). Has worked out very well for us. Pictures in C-Squirt album.

    New Suzuki outboards?

I have never worked in the boat business but I have worked for John Deere and Case IH dealers for a number of years. My experience with warranty work is that you get reimbursed at zero margin for parts and almost always write off a fair portion of the labor. Don't get me wrong, I think...

    saw this on L.A. Craigslist

I guess that is it then, no more 22' C-Dorys on the West Coast. Such a shame.

The term "gauche" refers to conformational isomers (conformers) where two vicinal groups are separated by a 60° torsion angle. ...From Wikipedia Well, if you have to be "conformational" to be at risk, I don't have much to worry about!

    Seattle Boat Show guidelines

This is getting to be dang complicated. Urban folk have so many rules to follow! Maybe I should just stay home with the goats. Only rarely have I inadvertently offended them and, trust me, they really are a classy bunch. Some of them even have papers, kinda like a degree. The heck with it! I'll...

Not sure what gouche is, I know I don't want it as it is most likely painful and easily spread. Okay, note to self: maintain self control until all papers signed in order to avoid that nasty gouche stuff!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge of etukit.

    Seattle Boat Show guidelines

Matt, I don't get out much, especially to large public events and my wife can't keep her eyes on me every second as she has two other boys to keep track of. As such, a question does come to my mind. As you know I am pretty excited to see a 19A for the first time. If I get caught up in the...

    New Suzuki outboards?

I do not have any experience with them. We have been looking for a Suzuki 2.5 kicker. Their price of $599.00 is pretty good but, freight is an additional $99.70 and the motor by itself is only 30 lbs.! So, for me, I would see what I could buy local for around $700.00. I did not check freight on...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Warren, Glad to hear you were not injured. Also glad the boat was not behind your' truck, that could make for some nasty, time consuming repairs.

    19 & 22 Angler Fans

Thanks for all the good points being brought up here. Using the dimensions was the C-Dory Site, cockpit square footage looks something like this: 16C=14.5, 19A=22.3, 22A=36.4. I think we need to actually see both the 19 & 22 to find a direction for us. Matt, I understand that one end is pointy...

Robbi and Roger, I notice the 22 has half again as much deck space as the 19. I like that but, was wondering how much more of a chore it is to launch a 22 compared to a 19? One thing that is so nice with the 16 is the ability to launch and retrieve almost anywhere without help. Robbi, very...

Okay, here is the deal. We bought a 16C early last spring and we love it. Originally, we wanted a 16A but, were swayed by our dealer claiming the cruiser had better re-sale value and, I think it has worked out better for us as we needed additional seating for two young boys. I don't know about...
