Due to the shallow draft of the CD22, I prefer aluminum props. You can get into shallow water where the props can be at risk. An aluminum prop is sacrificial and will absorb damage that a SS prop can transfer to the engine if the prop hits anything. $100 for an al prop is cheap protection IMO.
