That sounds like a good plan. We will mount those outboards reverse side-to-side. Then try the props we have first and go from there. I think we are leaning towards some 5 degree Bob's wedges, because for zero extra install time and $150, it seems worth it. I'm hoping for a pretty quick fast...

I have read that stern lift is important a couple of times now. Has anyone ever tried transom wedges? If we are replacing the motors, it seems like now is the time.

The current stainless props on those outboards are 14 x 22.

Hey guys. We just picked up a couple of 2003 Johnson 140s to hang on the Tomcat 24. They are just rebadged Suzuki DF140s. Does anyone have suggestions for prop sizes? Thanks for your help!

OK, that makes sense. I figured those windows would help a lot. I do not have the visor, but I do have the center window that opens. The rest of the windows are actually in great shape, so that is why I was really hoping I could match them and keep them.

Unfortunately, the aluminum frame/channel is gone on both of those. The side and that one front window have had the frame and window removed. Then the previous owner did a "do it yourself" window fix of his own. They catch water and aren't the long term fix, so I want to do it right. I guess...

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the information. Somehow it didn't click that most anything mounted would be on the bracket and not the transom. I hope to get into one of these in the near future. It seems like the perfect adventure boat!
