    Water and fuel don't Mix

Thanks for all the input guys, here's some more info. My tanks are aluminum. We've been running the boat all summer in often rough pounding conditions. Recently we were anchored while fishing in 5 ft sea and the tide had us in the trough for a while, although the angle of the boat never got...

    Water and fuel don't Mix

We just cut short a 5 day trip and hauled the boat out of the water and back home because of water in the fuel. The problem started almost immediately after start up when we launched, it only showed as poor idling on my Port side Honda BF90. It was shaking and idling around 600 RPM. Idling...

My own Private Waste Pump out Station

AH-HA A solution. Thank you Discovery. You also helped me understand why most others don't seem to understand the system I'm dealing with. (I have a freak sanitation system.) This is valuable storage space I would prefer not to lose, but this appears to be the most economical solution...

window fogging and shallow water alarms

Warren, unfortunately my installation isn't neat, tidy or done correct yet. I installed the fan the same day we launched for our 8 day hunt. The wire just ran down beside the helm. I properly crimped on a terminal on the + and - side and the negative is attached to the buss. But....the +...

    24 TomCat on C-Dory Website

Brent, I'm really not sure what to do with all this information. I just thought it should be archived before it is gone for good. I don't think I'm as computer savvy as you. Here is the link to the TC24 info still on the C-Dory website, but no longer linked from the Home Page...

    24 TomCat on C-Dory Website

While at the Seattle boat show I talked to Jeff Messmer and told him how much I appreciated them leaving the all the options, specs, and performance numbers on the C-Dory website for the TC24 Tomcat. It really helped us last year when we bought our boat. Well soon after, Jeff left C-Dory and...

    Honda Throttle Friction Lock

The advice was good, remove the cover and adjust the friction screw. Now the throttle stays where I put it. Only problem was this was the first removal of the four screws on the cover and they took so much pressure to remove that they were right on the edge of stripping. Thanks for the help.

window fogging and shallow water alarms

Window Fogging Cured!! I've revived this thread because I finally found a solution I'm happy with and wanted to share it. We tried it all, from the threads above, fog-x, shaving cream, we even wrestled with the 20" box fan for a trip. The answer for us is a few of the tips and the Hella Turbo...

My own Private Waste Pump out Station

Ron, that is interesting I would have thought that the whole sewage situation would have got even more restrictive on newer boats, but obviously your 2005 can dump anywhere you want (legally or not) I don't know the brand of the head right off, I'd have to dig thru my bag of manuals. Still...
