Great Warranty Experience with Fluid Marine

<<If you name her that, post a pic of the lettering style...>> I might model it after this sticker I got from an outside vendor at a Dead show, so many years ago:

Great Warranty Experience with Fluid Marine

Speaking of Jerry, I've been thinking of renaming my recently purchased boat to Dead Ahead... or perhaps Sunshine Daydream, which would be apropos to the PNW.

    Worst drivers in US?

I think the worst drivers are in Anacortes, WA.

    Tow Vehicle F150

Hank, I don't think there is anything you really have to do at all, but there are tons of cool things you can do if you want. There are some good Ford 150 owners forums on the net that can provide all the info you could want to tweek yours. Any search engine will direct you to them.

    Fish hook removal... OUCH!

Sorry, but this one is not worth the battery power for the video cam used to photograph it. I do like the Maker's Mark whisky, though.

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Yep, that's IMC and they have a great group of people working there. They helped me out so much during my first launch and haul out in August. Hank is a very intelligent and talented individual who made an already great boat which Les Lampman rigged into a work of art and science during his 3...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

What have I done with or on my C-Dory today? Nothing. Not a dang thing; it's 850 miles away from me. However, I'm always thinking about it and I have some plans. Just an FYI. Thanks.

Gas or Diesel for towing my 25?

Yes, it has the towing package with the lockout button on the shifter. It also has the fifth wheel hitch on the bed. At least, it has the frame bracket installed, and the previous owner had a goose neck hitch for the horse trailer. All it needs is a king pin receiver or gooseneck ball, but I...

Gas or Diesel for towing my 25?

I went ahead and bought a truck; an '02 Ford F250 Lariat 4x4 super cab (extended cab) with the venerable 7.3L diesel engine (I confirmed it has no spark plugs), auto trans. The suspension is optioned up to the equivalent of the one ton F350, so this is a stout tow vehicle. This thing is cool...

Gas or Diesel for towing my 25?

Those are good points about the benefits of going big. If I were just towing around Lopez that would be one thing, but even there the ramps are steep/mossy/sandy, you name it. And regardless of the low frequency I expect to tow, I will being towing long distance and will face the steep...

    replacing L-bracket in hull

Yeah, that's too bad about duvalra. I say that because he claims to have had a 20 year interest in the C-Dory and look what happened after just two posts. He came onto the forum too negative, kind of like IdleUp did. But IdleUp hung in there and he came around in the end, and now he is a...

Gas or Diesel for towing my 25?

How does an exhaust brake work, and can one be added aftermarket or does the engine have to be equipped from the factory that way? Are they legal in all states?

Gas or Diesel for towing my 25?

As expected, the responses to my inquiry have been top notch and helpful. Either way, neither would really be a wrong choice.... however, I will not make the choice of continuing to use my '96 4Runner V6; that would be wrong! This worked adequately pulling the boat from Anacortes (where I...

Gas or Diesel for towing my 25?

I know that a drive train such as the duramax/allison combo is ideal for heavy duty towing for those who tow frequently. But from a cost vs. benefit perspective, does this rig make sense for someone who will only tow occasionally, such as four to six times per year covering, say, 3000 miles...

The Cruising Adventures of Wild Blue and crew...

I had a legendary cat like this. She traveled with me by train, plane, car and boat between 1970 - 1988. She visits me in my dreams on occasion even to this day. Perhaps Molly will do the same.

Choosing Between Various Heaters and Stoves

For your reference, here is a photo of the secondary heater in Sea Skipper. It is Taylor’s pressurized kerosene heater, no electric power required - utilizes 1” flue. Fan mounted aft of flue can be aimed to direct a warm blast of air clear across the forward windows for demisting.
