    Radar Arches

I purchased some a few years ago on Amazon. Not very good quality. Here is a good article from the Sailrite website: https://www.sailrite.com/choosing-high-quality-marine-snap-fasteners?srsltid=AfmBOop-F7p6rEZaeTJmS6-y2vwT4x1gvSBistptT5Tm1gNWYoHaN-vt

    Hydraulic to EoH?

I agree, Colby. Kodiak brakes are excellent. I had to replace one Tie down Brand caliper and went with Kodiak, non stainless steel.along with their brake pads. It is much beefier than Tie down and has held up really well with numerous launches in saltwater in the Puget Sound area.

Venture vs. Cruiser for fishing and ride - PNW

We have a 2004 C-Dory 25 Cruiser and use the Scotty 2027 Stanchion Mount on our cockpit rail to mount our downriggers port and starboard. There is some flex on the SS rail, but everything works great. Of course we mount on the rail where they meet at 90 degrees back by the corner seat...

    Replacing AFT Cockpit Sole Hatches

Here's a link to discussion on topic. With product info: https://www.c-brats.com/threads/cd-25-aft-cockpit-hatches.32121/ Boris on Journey On did one of the first installations, unfortunately his discussion may be lost in the switch over from old to new C-Brats.

Leaking Front Hatch on 2011 22 Cruiser

I have had leaks through the handle. There is a phillips screw in the middle of the pivot part of the handle. Take it all apart and replace the "o" ring inside. I would check that first before pulling the entire hatch. Thataway is correct, of course. There are many hatches where the opening is...

C-Brats 2026 Calendar is NOW Available!

It seems like discount codes change often. I didn't get to use the first discount either because I waited too long. After I ordered my calendar, then a new discount code popped up in an ad on Facebook. I need to not wait when ordering something that has a discount code. Like I said before, the...

Lower Unit - 1998 Honda BF40 - Works Great, crack developing in housing

It's probably just a matter of time until the crack extends into the gear housing. Probably not worth anything in it's present from. You could sell it as parts and someone could extract gears and drive shaft out of the unit and put them to good use. I have no idea what a 27 year old lower unit...

    Props

Roamad, it is the pitch on the prop, not the motor. SSOBOL has a 13 1/2" diameter prop. The pitch is 15". In other words, one rotation of the prop and the prop travels 15" forward. The diameter and pitch should be stamped on the prop that you have. As has been discussed look at your owners...

    Getting Fuel Tank Tested

Here's a link to when David McKibben had to replace his tank on his 25. He built new steps because of gap issues. For what it's worth...The pic of the new step is on page 4 of the thread. https://www.c-brats.com/threads/gas-tank-leak-on-my-25.18784/page-4

It's those damn disc brake calipers again

Regarding brake pads, it would be interesting to run a set of Kodiak pads on one axle and the new ones you just purchased on the other axle. Given the good results that Jay has had with Kodiak, it might be a worthwhile experiment, Colby.

    Shower box pump

I had to replace the wash down pump on my 25. There was no power to the pump via the switch. I traced down a broken wire. It was one of the wires that rubbed through the insulation as it was hard onto the deck. Vibration caused it to wear all the way through. I would try testing continuity on...
