You don't have to measure anything. Angola has the pattern and can fabricate w/o any measurements.
I had them extend the pattern an additional foot down the sides to create a better fit and to cover the colored area below the bumper. I also had them add a motor cover. Angola's measurements fit...
I ran Li batteries in a 36V electric trolling motor all summer. UNBELIEVABLE. I'm changing over my house battery to a Li for next boating season, folks.

My outboard shop advised no action is necessary. I stored my BF50 and BF90 in IL for ten years in brutal subzero temps with no issues. the only thing you MUST do is keep water out of the lower unit or you'll be sorry later when you fire her up in the spring.
