    Byrdman Has A Small Stroke

Pat- I'm typing this slow so you can keep up..... Your sense of humor and zest for life along with following the doctors orders will get you through this. My mom had a very similar type of stroke just two months ago and is doing fine. After a few weeks she was just as ornery as ever. Take care...

Robbi- I made a couple gallons of my c-brat chilie for the Saturday night feast. The boat is about ready and I even put some new air in the inflateable. We will be leaving home around 4pm Friday and should launch around 5pm at Swantown and be at the cove around 6pm.

Ken- Thanks for putting this one together! It was great to see everyone again. Great company, excellent food and perfect weather! We got home, put away the gear and boat just in time for it to start raining. I can't remember the last time we had a 3 day drought, I was starting to get worried!

I think it's really nice for Molly to take Jim and Joan for walks, otherwise they may never get off the boat!

cracks, leaks, foam, and old bad work.

I have well over 200 hours on our 2006 22'. Most of the hours are spent fishing in the Pacific ocean out of Westport. Most of the time either going in or out crossing the Chehalis river bar is rough, as in 5' to 9' nasties. I do NOT have any stress cracks any where. The only damage done is when...

Jeff- We use our Wallas under way almost every trip. It's too darn chilly not to use it. The stove is designed to work whether your tied up at a dock or running at speed.

    Luhr Jensen "Salmon Bungee"...?

CW- I use the salmon snubbers all the time in the ocean while trolling. They work great behind a diver or ahead of a dodger on the downriggers. I tried them in the Columbia only once and didn't get a bite. I was useing a k-15 kwick fish with a sardine wrap. The only fish caught that day was on a...

Fishing gear for kids and newbies

Tim- First thing you need to do is add another room on to your house, or better yet build a big shop. This will be necessary to hold all the gear you will accumuulate over the next several years. It all starts with the first rod and reel, pretty soon you are looking at all the out door catalogs...

End of the Season Projects and Stuff

Nick- Looks like you have more than enough to keep you busy for a while. All I need to do is add a foot to my radar arch, replace my prop and try to buff out a severe case of bumper rash aquired at the Sequim bay gathering.......besides hunting season is here and I'll be gone to much to work on...

    12/15 - Lake Washington/Locks

Roger- Sounds like a great idea! Depending on weather and if I can get away from the Lions Club christmas tree sales for a day. Cathy and I could always sneak up on Oldgrowth, hog tie him and force him to enjoy himself. I don't think that will be necessary but it could be entertaining.

Open seat for fishing Neah Bay - Sat Aug 18th.

Roger- Thanks a double bunch for allowing me to tag along for two fun, fish catching days. I hate to admit it but funky chicken spoons are now an endangered species in our area. I bought all I could find and want more. I got home right at 10 pm last evening, left the fish in the camper...
